On February 25th, the third meeting of the second general meeting of the Guangzhou Games Industry Association was held.

During the meeting, the "2024 Guangzhou Games Industry Development Report" was released, revealing that the total revenue of Guangzhou's gaming industry in 2024 reached approximately 140.667 billion yuan, marking a year-on-year increase of about 10.5%. Among this, the overseas revenue of Guangzhou-based enterprises amounted to 19.058 billion yuan. The mini-game sector demonstrated significant growth, with annual revenue surpassing 15 billion yuan. In the "2024 China Mini-Game Top 100 Enterprises Ranking", 28 enterprises from Guangzhou made the list, securing the highest number of entries nationwide.
The meeting also announced several innovative measures for the gaming industry. Notably, the "Homo Ludens" Archive is advancing the construction of its Guangzhou branch. Leveraging the cultural strengths of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the Guangzhou branch aims to create a comprehensive cultural space that integrates game talent development, local community engagement, game intellectuals, and public gaming literacy education.
Additionally, the Guangzhou Games Industry Association has been approved to establish an expert committee for games industry research. The committee will bring together experts in game development, operations, technology, and art to enhance the research capabilities of Guangzhou's gaming industry.

2024年广州游戏产业总营收约1406.67亿元
2月25日,广州市游戏行业协会第二届会员大会第三次会议举行。
会上重磅发布的《2024年广州游戏行业发展报告》显示,2024年广州游戏产业总营收约1406.67亿元,同比增长约10.5%。其中,广州企业海外营收为190.58亿元;小程序游戏赛道方面优势凸显,全年营收突破150亿元,在《2024年中国小游戏百强企业榜单》中,广州有28家企业上榜,上榜数量位居全国第一。
本次会议还发布了多项游戏产业创新措施。其中,“游戏的人”游戏档案馆正在推进广州分馆落地建设。广州分馆结合粤港澳大湾区的文化优势,打造一个兼具游戏人才培育、本地社群、游戏知识分子、公众游戏素养教育于一体的综合性文化空间。
此外,广州市游戏行业协会获批设立游戏产业研究专家委员会,聘请游戏开发、运营、技术、美术等相关领域的专家,提升广州游戏产业的研究水平。
