Recently, the first large-scale live performance in China based on the Puning Yingge Dance, "The Heroes", was staged at the Jionin Cultural in Puning, Jieyang. The performance has been a tremendous success, with ticket sales soaring and a wave of enthusiasm surrounding the Yingge Dance. It took three years to create and prepare the performance, with a total investment of over 60 million yuan.

On the evening of January 29th, the first performance kicked off with stunning lighting, and all 1,800 seats were fully occupied. The audience included not only local residents and cultural enthusiasts but also many tourists who traveled specifically to attend the show.

Artist Tian Hanquan commented that "The Heroes" dramatizes the Yingge Dance and integrates modern technological audio-visual techniques, bringing the output of Chaoshan culture to a new height. The chief writer, Du Hongliu, explained that in addition to the theme of Yingge Dance, the performance also incorporates intangible cultural heritage elements such as lanterns, carrying-flag-parading, and green lion dancing. It is hoped that through this, citizens and tourists can have a deeper understanding of the history and culture of Chaoshan and experience the unique charm of Puning Yingge Dance.

The stage design of "The Heroes" is remarkable, featuring a rarely seen nine-dimensional holographic giant screen, an ultra-large rotating stage matrix, along with high-tech equipment such as liftable water features. The design combines cutting-edge technology and artistic creativity, presenting Yingge Dance in a modern stage art form that is appealing to audiences nationwide and showcasing the ChaoShan performing arts culture to the world.

In recent years, Puning Yingge Dance has gained significant attention both domestically and internationally. During the Chinese New Year's Eve, Puning Yingge Dance was showcased at the Spring Festival Gala, allowing global Chinese audiences to experience the unique charm of this first-batch national intangible cultural heritage representative project. The debut of "The Heroes" has further enriched the promotion of Yingge culture.

国内首部！大型实景演出《英歌情》在普宁火爆上演

近日，国内首部以普宁英歌为主线创作的大型实景演出《英歌情》，在揭阳普宁中茵文化园接连上演，门票销售火爆，掀起英歌热潮。《英歌情》是全国首个以普宁英歌为主题的大型实景演出，总投资6000多万元，创作和准备时间长达3年。

1月29日晚，绚丽灯光拉开首场演出序幕，现场1800个席位座无虚席，观众中不仅有本地市民、文化爱好者，还有不少外地游客专程前来。

艺术家田汉权评价，《英歌情》把英歌IP进行戏剧化演绎，融合现代科技视听技术，将潮汕文化输出带到新高度。总编剧杜红柳介绍，演出除主题英歌外，还融入贺灯、营标旗、青狮等非遗元素，希望借此让市民游客深入了解潮汕历史文化，感受普宁英歌独特魅力。

演出的舞台设计堪称一绝，国内罕见的九维空间全息巨幕、超大规模旋转舞台矩阵，搭配可升降水景等高科技设备，将前沿科技与艺术创意完美融合，让英歌以符合现代潮流的舞台艺术形式呈现给全国观众，向世界展示潮汕舞台艺术文化。

近年来，揭阳普宁英歌持续“火出圈”，在海内外备受关注。除夕夜，普宁英歌登上春晚舞台，让全球华人领略到这一首批国家级非遗代表性项目的独特魅力 ，如今《英歌情》的上演，更是为英歌文化传播添上浓墨重彩的一笔。
