January 30th marked the third day of the 2025 Chinese New Year holiday, with scenic spots and cultural venues across Guangdong welcoming a large number of visitors. The rich intangible cultural heritage (ICH) activities and traditional customs held in various places filled the region with a strong festive atmosphere.
According to preliminary estimates, the 4A-level and above scenic spots in Guangdong received 3.701 million visitors on that day, a year-on-year increase of 4.3% compared to the third day of the holiday last year.
Guangdong's localities have tapped into their unique cultural resources to launch a series of cultural welfare activities to celebrate the festival. For example, Foshan hosted the "Viewing Fortune and Tasting Art—The 2nd Guangdong Nanhai Earth Art Festival," featuring 95 art projects presented by 165 groups of artists from 30 countries and regions. This event offered a high-quality, local, international, and multidisciplinary artistic feast. Huizhou invited professional performance troupes to create a customized blessing-themed situational drama, "Daoist Physicians Save the World," for Luofu Mountain Scenic Area, along with classic folk performances such as the Yingge Dance, lion dance, and Spring Ox Dance.
In addition, online activities were also engaging and entertaining. The Guangdong Museum, based on its "Chaozhou Woodcarving" exhibition, combined with a mobile app, embedded cultural interpretations and artifacts into storylines and AR, multimedia technologies. This integration of online and offline experiences provided visitors with an immersive viewing experience.
During the festival, various cultural venues and scenic spots in Guangdong launched numerous ICH and traditional customs activities.
In Yuexiu District of Guangzhou,a series of activities, including 12 major sections of music, food, ICH, cultural relics, art, and ecology, allowed people to enjoy the charm of tradition, the vitality of innovation, and the heat of multiculturalism in a joyful atmosphere.
The Guangzhou Cultural Center held an ICH Fair from January 24th to February 4th, with activity zones for Cantonese cuisine, cultural and creative markets, ICH experiences, and interactive performances, featuring a variety of dazzling ICH shows.
In addition, a variety of traditional customs activities were held across Guangdong. The Guangfu Temple Fair in Yuexiu District of Guangzhou, the "Zhicaimen" (throwing firecrackers) in Da Jiangpu Village of Conghua District, the temple fair at Huang Daxian Temple, and the LettuceMarket in Kengkou Village of Liwan District, and other ICH folk activities took turns to appear. Meizhou City launched activities such as firework customs and ICH performances, allowing tourists to fully experience the unique charm of Hakka culture. Zhanjiang City, based on the Zhanjiang New Year celebration, organized parades of characteristic ICH folk projects such as the Piaose parade and human dragon dances in the Chikan Old Street scenic area, enabling tourists to experience the rich connotations of Chikan's Chinese New Year folk culture.

大年初二,广东4A级及以上景区接待游客370.1万人次
1月30日是2025年春节假期第三天,广东各景区和文化场所迎来大批游客。各地、各场所上演的丰富非遗年俗活动,让广东处处充满了浓郁的年味。
据初步测算,当天,全省4A级及以上景区接待游客370.1万人次,较去年假期第三日同比增长4.3%。
广东全省各地挖掘当地特色文化资源,开展了一系列迎新春文化惠民活动。其中,佛山市开展“观福运 品艺术——第二届广东南海大地艺术节”,总计95个艺术项目由来自30个国家和地区的165组参展艺术家共同呈现,为群众带来一场高品质、在地性、国际化、多元跨界的艺术盛宴。惠州市邀请专业演出团队为罗浮山景区量身打造《道医济世》祈福版情景剧,现场表演英歌舞、舞狮、舞春牛等经典民俗节目。
同时,线上活动丰富有趣。广东省博物馆以“潮州木雕”展览内容为基础,结合手机端APP,将文物和文化阐释藏于故事情节和AR、多媒体技术中,以线上技术+线下展厅联动,实现沉浸式观展新体验。
春节期间,广东各地文化场所、景区还组织了大量非遗年俗活动。
广州市越秀区策划了“广府味·幸福年”新春系列活动,为市民群众献上了充满传统韵味与创新活力的“广府十二年味”。通过音乐、美食、非遗、文物、艺术、生态等12大板块丰富多彩的活动内容,让人民群众在欢乐中感受到了传统的魅力、创新的活力以及多元文化的热力。
广州市文化馆在1月24日至2月4日期间推出春节非遗游园会,现场设置了广府美食风味区、文化创意市集区、非遗体验区以及游戏互动展演区等活动区域,并奉上多场令人目不暇接非遗表演。
此外,多项年俗活动在广东热闹上演。广州市越秀区的广府庙会、从化区大江埔村的掷彩门、荔湾区黄大仙祠的庙会和坑口村的生菜会等非遗民俗活动轮番亮相;梅州市推出烟火年俗、非遗展演等活动,让游客充分感受客家文化的独特魅力;湛江市以湛江年例为背景,在赤坎老街景区组织飘色、人龙舞等特色非遗民俗项目巡游,让游客体验赤坎春节民俗文化的丰富内涵。
