Giant ships, loaded with cross-border goods, set sail from Nansha Port to continents around the world; the China-Europe Railway Express carrying cutting-edge electronic products, departs from Dongguan, heading directly to the heart of Europe; and cargo planes, carrying high-value products, take off from Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport, flying across the globe. As 2024 draws to a close, Guangdong's foreign trade performance is outstanding, with the province expected to achieve nearly double-digit growth for the year. It has maintained its position as the leader among China's foreign trade provinces for 38 consecutive years, contributing more than one-fifth of the nation's total foreign trade volume. 

In the first 11 months, Guangdong's total foreign trade import and export value reached 8.27 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 10%, outpacing the national growth rate by 5.1 percentage points and accounting for 20.8%. Thanks to its high-quality products, Guangdong has won the favor of global buyers. From 1978 to 2023, its total import and export value surged from 1.59 billion dollars to 1.18 trillion dollars, and the number of trade partners expanded from 145 to over 250. 

Guangdong's exports of new energy vehicles and ships have grown rapidly. In the first 11 months, ship exports increased by 42.4%, while new energy vehicle exports grew by 39.8%. GAC Group exported a total of 105,000 cars during the first 10 months of the year, a significant increase of 86.3% year-on-year. With the launch of its factories in Malaysia and Thailand, GAC's products are being sold in nearly 70 countries and regions. BYD, which began exporting passenger cars in 2021, has expanded to 99 countries and over 400 cities worldwide. The company also invested in the construction of eight roll-on/roll-off ships, and in July, the "BYD EXPLORER NO.1" embarked on its maiden voyage, transporting 2,132 new energy vehicles to Europe. 

In the aerospace sector, low-altitude aircraft made in Guangdong have performed outstandingly. EHang's smart, manned eVTOL aircraft has completed over 56,000 safe flights in 18 countries, with its operations covering regions such as the Middle East, Asia-Pacific, and North America. 

Cross-border e-commerce is thriving, with platforms like TEMU, SHEIN, and Shopee collaborating with the Puning E-commerce Center to offer official training, helping businesses start cross-border operations at low costs. Currently, Guangdong's cross-border e-commerce import and export volume accounts for over one-third of the national total, making it the largest in the country. 

Meanwhile, major open platforms such as Qianhai and Hetao Shenzhen-Hong Kong Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation Zone in Shenzhen, and Nansha in Guangzhou are accelerating their development to support a higher level of opening up. Guangdong is focusing on "grasping policies, stabilizing scale, and striving for growth." With the synergy between an effective market and a proactive government, the province is set to carve out a vast space for itself in the new landscape of international competition and continue to achieve remarkable success in foreign trade.

一艘艘满载跨境商品的万吨巨轮从南沙港驶向各大洲；一列列搭载“黑科技”电子产品的“钢铁驼队”中欧班列从东莞出发直抵欧洲腹地；一架架装载高附加值产品的货机从深圳宝安国际机场飞往全球……2024年接近尾声，广东外贸成绩亮眼，全年有望实现近两位数增长，连续38年领跑中国外贸大省，贡献全国超五分之一外贸份额。

前11个月，广东外贸进出口总值达8.27万亿元人民币，同比增长10%，增速高于全国5.1个百分点，占比20.8%。广东凭借优质广货，赢得全球买家青睐。自1978年至2023年，进出口总值从15.9亿美元跃升至1.18万亿美元，贸易伙伴从145个增至超250个。

广东新能源汽车、船舶出口增长迅猛，前11个月，船舶增长42.4%，新能源汽车增长39.8%。广汽集团前10个月累计出口汽车10.5万辆，同比劲增86.3%，其马来西亚、泰国工厂今年投产，产品打入近70个国家和地区；比亚迪2021年开启乘用车出海，已进驻全球99个国家、400多座城市，还斥资订造8艘滚装船，7月“开拓者1号”首航，载2132辆新能源车驶向欧洲。

空中领域，“粤字号”低空飞行器表现出众。亿航智能载人级eVTOL在18个国家完成超5.6万架次安全飞行，足迹遍布中东、亚太、北美等地。

跨境电商蓬勃发展，TEMU、SHEIN、Shopee等平台与普宁市电商中心合作，开展官方培训助力商家低成本开启跨境业务。当下，广东跨境电商进出口总量占全国超1/3，规模居首。

同时，深圳前海、河套以及广州南沙等重大开放平台加速建设，助力更高水平对外开放。广东“抓政策、稳规模、拼增长”，凭借有效市场与有为政府协同发力，必将在国际竞争新局中闯出广阔天地，续写外贸辉煌。
