The 3rd China-Arab States Young Political Leaders Forum take place in Guangdong from November 27th to 28th, with the theme "Contributing Youth Power to Building a China-Arab Community with a Shared Future in the New Era". Over 100 young political representatives from 21 Arab countries are set to participate, making this edition the largest and highest-level forum to date.
According to Jiao Zhixin, Director of the Third Bureau of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, the forum aims to enhance exchanges and mutual learning between young politicians from China and Arab states, contributing to the construction of China-Arab community with a shared future. Held face-to-face for the first time, the forum will gather Arab representatives with backgrounds ranging from political parties, legislative bodies, government departments, think tanks and media. The delegation includes a deputy speaker, a vice-chairperson of a consultative conference, and a former prime minister, underscoring its strong representation and influence.
The forum features multiple activities, including subtopic discussions, on-site visits, special topic presentations, and activities such as planting trees in the International Forestof Friendship, offering Arab youth a direct experience of China's modernization journey. Guangdong, known as a pioneer and experimental zone for reform and opening up, is China's leading province in foreign trade and a key hub for China-Arab trade and investment. According to Cang Feng, deputy director of Office of Foreign Affairs Commission of the Guangdong Committee of the CPC, said the friendship between Guangdong and Arab countries dates back over 2,000 years to the Maritime Silk Road. In recent years, the two sides have achieved dynamic collaboration in cultural and economic domains, including deepened academic exchanges and vibrant trade relations. In the first three quarters of this year, Guangdong's total trade in goods with Arab countries reached 269.4 billionyuan, a 12.76% year-on-year increase. Additionally, the 136th Canton Fair attracted approximately 34,000 Arab businesspeople, showcasing the robust vitality of their cooperation.
This year's forum will focus on topics such as the "Belt and Road" Initiative(BRI) and the Global Civilization Initiative, aiming to foster greater consensus among young politicians from China and Arab countries in the new era. Their discussions will contribute youthful wisdom and strength to advancing the Global Civilization Initiative.

第三届中国—阿拉伯国家青年政治家论坛于11月27日至28日在广东举行,主题为“为构建面向新时代的中阿命运共同体贡献青春力量”。本届论坛吸引了来自21个阿拉伯国家的100多名青年政治家代表,是历届参会级别和规模最高的一次。
中联部三局局长焦志鑫介绍,该论坛旨在增进中阿青年政治家的交流互鉴,助力构建中阿命运共同体。他指出,本届论坛首次以线下形式举办,阿方参会代表来自政党、立法机构、政府部门、智库、媒体等多个领域,包括1名副议长、1名协商会议副主席及1名前总理,显示出强大的代表性和影响力。
论坛设置了三场分议题讨论、实地参访、专题宣介及国际友谊林植树等活动,让阿方青年直观感受中国式现代化的内涵。广东是改革开放的排头兵、先行地、实验区,是中国外贸第一大省和中阿贸易投资重要窗口。广东省委外办副主任仓峰在介绍粤阿合作时提到,广东与阿拉伯国家的友谊可追溯至2000多年前的海上丝绸之路。近年来,双方在人文和经贸领域实现“双向奔赴”,如高校合作、文化交流不断深化,经贸合作亮点频现。今年前三季度,广东与阿拉伯国家货物进出口总额达2694亿元人民币,同比增长12.76%。第136届广交会上吸引约3.4万名阿拉伯客商参展采购,显示出双方合作的强劲活力。
本届论坛将聚焦“一带一路”建设、全球文明倡议等议题,推动中阿青年政治家在新时代达成更多共识,为全球文明倡议的落实贡献青春智慧与力量。
