On November 17th, the 2024 Greater Bay Area Science Forum kicked off in Guangzhou's Nansha District, co-hosted by Guangdong Province, Hong Kong, and Macaofor the first time.

The forum continues its tradition of drawing an impressive roster of participants, including Nobel laureates, Fields Medal recipients, leaders of international academic institutions, renowned academicians from China and abroad, and representatives from leading enterprises.

Actually, the forum is only in its third year. What makes the young science forum so compelling that global world-class scientists travel long distances to participate?

和往届一样，本届主论坛吸引了诺贝尔奖获得者、菲尔茨奖获得者、国际学术机构负责人、国内外知名院士、龙头企业代表等参会、研讨、交流。

但实际上，大湾区科学论坛到今年也只是第三届。这个年轻的论坛，何以吸引众多世界级大咖不远万里赶来参加？
