"The best thing about the Canton Fair is being able to communicate face-to-face with suppliers from all over China and buyers from around the world!" The 136th Canton Fair is in full swing, and three international students from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies and Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine were invited by Yangcheng Evening News to serve as experience officers, exploring the innovative energy of Chinese manufacturing at the fair.

New products and technologies dazzle the students

Zheng Caifu, an Indonesian student from the Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine, was drawn to an intelligent bionic hand at the exhibition. The user, wearing the bionic hand, was skillfully writing Chinese calligraphy, attracting a crowd of spectators. Curiously, Zheng couldn't resist stepping forward to "shake hands" with the user.

A representative from the company noticed his interest and explained with a smile, "This bionic hand is based on brain-computer interface technology, allowing it to precisely capture brainwave signals and control hand movements." During Zheng's eight years of studying and practicing Chinese medicine, he encountered many patients with severe diabetes, some of whom had to undergo amputations due to their condition. "This kind of device will undoubtedly offer amputees a better quality of life," Zheng remarked.

Donya, an Iranian student from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, was captivated by a multifunctional tea maker. This compact machine can brew both tea and coffee and even help make milk tea or lattes. She commented, "Tea and coffee are both very popular in Iran, and this machine offers so many functions, which is very convenient."

Daniel, a Russian student also from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, found the new energy vehicle exhibition area the most appealing. A Xiaomi electric vehicle on display drew a large crowd of buyers and visitors, including Daniel. After waiting in line for a long time, he finally had the chance to sit in the car and experience it.

International buyers praise the Canton Fair's appeal

While exploring the fair, the international students interacted with global buyers. Daniel met a trader from Slovakia, whose e-commerce business covers eleven countries in Europe, and the Canton Fair is crucial for his business. He was particularly interested in the Russian market and asked Daniel about the latest trends there.

Interestingly, this Slovak trader not only uses WeChat but has even printed his WeChat QR code on his clothing. Daniel quickly exchanged WeChat contacts with him.

Another Ghanaian buyer also had an enthusiastic conversation with Daniel. The Ghanaian buyer said, "I'm in the battery trade and have already established partnerships with some Chinese suppliers. The Canton Fair helps us enhance these relationships. My business isn't just in Ghana, but also in other African countries, so attending the Canton Fair allows me to discover new suppliers and further grow my business."

The Canton Fair's vast array of exhibits and bustling crowds left a deep impression on the three international students. Daniel reflected, "What brings so many exhibitors and buyers together here? It must be the business opportunities! Every buyer I spoke with today told me the same thing-meeting business partners face-to-face here is something that emails or phone calls just can't replace."

在粤留学生逛广交会：被中国商品“种草” 与世界客商换微信

“能和全中国的供应商以及全世界的客商面对面沟通，这就是广交会最好的地方！”第136届广交会正在火热进行中，来自广东外语外贸大学和广州中医药大学的三名外籍留学生应羊城晚报邀请担任体验官，感受广交会上中国智造的创新活力。

新产品新技术让留学生目不暇接

来自印度尼西亚的广州中医药大学留学生郑财福在广交会的展厅中被一款智能仿生手吸引。只见佩戴着仿生手的体验者正挥毫写下苍劲有力的毛笔字，吸引了不少观众围观。郑财福也忍不住上前与体验者“握手”。

该企业的代表看出了他的好奇，微笑着介绍道：“这款仿生手基于脑机接口技术，可以精准采集脑波信号，控制手部动作。”在郑财福八年的中医学习与实践中，他遇到过很多糖尿病重症患者，其中有些人因病情严重需要截肢。“这样的设备无疑能为截肢的患者提供更好的生活选择。”郑财福感慨道。

在广东外语外贸大学就读的伊朗留学生多尼娅则被一款多功能泡茶机吸引。这款泡茶机在不大的体积下，兼具泡茶和煮咖啡的功能，还可以帮助制作奶茶或奶咖。她说：“茶和咖啡在我们伊朗都很受欢迎，这款机器可以实现这么多功能，很方便。” 

同样来自广外的俄罗斯留学生丹尼尔则对新能源汽车展区最感兴趣。一家汽车出口商展出了一台小米新能源汽车，大量客商及参观者都“走不动道”，丹尼尔也是其中之一。他排了很久的队才坐到车里体验了一番。

国际客商点赞广交会吸引力

逛展期间，外籍留学生和国际客商进行了交流。其中，丹尼尔遇到了一位来自斯洛伐克的贸易商，这位贸易商的电子商务业务覆盖欧洲十一国，广交会对他的生意非常重要。他还对俄罗斯市场非常感兴趣，特地向丹尼尔询问了目前俄罗斯市场的新动态。

有趣的是，这位斯洛伐克贸易商不仅使用微信，还把自己的微信二维码印在了衣服上，丹尼尔赶紧和他互换了微信。

另一位加纳的客商也和丹尼尔聊得热火朝天。加纳客商说：“我从事电池的贸易，已经和一些中国供应商建立了合作关系，来广交会有助于我们和供应商更好地合作。同时我的业务不仅在加纳，还覆盖非洲其他一些国家，所以来广交会也会发掘其他的供应商，帮助我们的生意更好地发展。”

广交会琳琅满目的展品和熙熙攘攘的人潮，让三名外籍留学生都赞叹不已。丹尼尔感叹：“是什么让这么多参展商和客商汇聚于此？一定是因为这里有商机！今天所有客商都告诉我同一件事，在这里能和生意伙伴进行面对面的沟通，这是发邮件、打电话替代不了的。”
