Smart electric vehicles, China spallation neutron source, 3D printing, and other new technologies made exciting appearances. Excellent documentaries like "Shenzhong Link," "Top Facility," "Underworld", and "No Man's Land" were showcased in the tech cinema. An interactive experience area allowed visitors to engage in AI dialogues. The seventh Guangdong Science Carnival started on September 20th and runs until the 22nd.

This year's carnival, hosted by the Guangdong Science Center, also features events in Dongguan, Kaiping in Jiangmen, Chenghai District in Shantou, and Xinyi in Maoming. The event includes three major exhibition halls and four key exhibition areas. The main venue at the Guangdong Science Center hosts the themed exhibition hall of the carnival, a mathematical and physical phenomena hall, and a "Next-Generation Smart Communication" exhibition, covering a total area of 9,600 square meters.

The event focuses on being enjoyable, informative, and interactive. For enjoyment, the venue showcases smart electric vehicles, China spallation neutron source, and 3D printing. For visual appeal, documentaries like "Shenzhong Link", "Top Facility", "Underworld ", "No Man's Land" and others are screened in the tech cinema. For interactivity, the experience area allows AI dialogues, cloud gaming without downloads, remote control of robots, insights into smart manufacturing, and remote surgery.

Additionally, based on past editions, this year's event introduces various new interactive activities. Through a science Q&A booth, workshops, a science fair, games, and legal education in science, the carnival aims to enhance public interest and improve scientific literacy through engaging and fun activities.

智能电动汽车、中国散裂中子源、3D打印等新科技精彩亮相；《深中通道》《超级装备》《地下世界》和《无人之境》等系列优秀纪录片在科技影院轮番展映；互动体验区可以体验AI对话……9月20日，第七届广东科普嘉年华启动，活动持续到22日。

本届广东科普嘉年华广东科学中心举办主场活动，在东莞市、江门开平市、汕头市澄海区、茂名信宜市同期举办分会场活动。本次活动设置三大展馆、四大展区。其中，设在广东省科学中心日主会场的有广东科普嘉年华主题展馆、数理万象展馆及“新一代智慧通信”科普展，三大展馆总面积达9600平方米。

活动现场以好逛、好看、好玩为核心，好逛方面，现场布置有智能电动汽车、中国散裂中子源、3D打印等新科技；好看方面，现场有《深中通道》《超级装备》《地下世界》和《无人之境》等系列优秀纪录片在科技影院展映；好玩方面，现场的互动体验区可以体验AI对话，不用下载和安装即可体验云游戏、亲手远程操控机器人、了解智能制造和远程手术。

此外，在往届基础上，本次活动新增了多种互动玩法。通过科普答疑馆、科普工作坊、科普游园会、科普游戏、科普集市和科技普法等展中活动，以科普制作、趣味游戏等方式，让公众增强科学兴趣，提升科学素质。
