2024 CIFTIS closes with nearly 1,000 achievements

On September 16th, the 2024 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) concluded in Beijing. At the closing press conference, it was revealed that nearly 1,000 outcomes were achieved, covering deals, investments, and other categories, primarily in construction, finance, and business services.

This year's CIFTIS, under the theme "Global Services, Shared Prosperity," focused on smart services and open development. The Global Trade in Services Summit of the 2024 CIFTIS was a key event, attracting over 2,000 companies for in-person exhibitions and more than 6,000 companies for online participation. As of noon on the 16th, nearly 242,000 visitors had attended the event, including over 100,000 professional attendees, marking a 20% increase from last year.

Increased international participation

This year's CIFTIS saw participation from 85 countries and international organizations, with 13 of them hosting independent exhibitions for the first time, both numbers surpassing last year's figures. Guest of Honor France showcased companies specializing in event management and cultural tourism services, fostering new avenues for China-France collaboration in education and sports services. Australia, with 20 participating enterprises and institutions, set the stage for its role as the guest of honor in 2025. The overall international participation rate of offline exhibitors exceeded 20%, with over 460 companies from the Fortune Global 500 and industry leaders in attendance.

A highlight of the event was the integration of advanced technology with real-world industries. The Achievement Show presented over 30 representative physical exhibits that demonstrated China's innovation in service trade. Thematic exhibitions featured cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, the metaverse, and 6G, along with new achievements in industrial integration. Attendees were treated to live demonstrations of the world's first orthopedic surgery robot powered by AI deep learning, the world's smallest pacemaker, and intelligent driving systems equipped with remote safety control, showcasing the convenience and allure of smart services.

Negotiations and promotion boost multilateral cooperation

The results released at CIFTIS are always a major attraction. This year, 111 companies, including Fortune Global 500 firms and industry leaders, unveiled 219 achievements across fields like digitalization, artificial intelligence, and healthcare, an increase of 80 over last year. Notably, 110 new products made their debut, including a full-body precision ultrasound diagnosis system.

To further promote cooperation, CIFTIS hosted 56 international project matchmaking events, including 10 overseas networking sessions. Provinces like Sichuan and Hainan organized 12 themed activities to highlight their strengths and projects.

In addition to business activities, CIFTIS also featured events like a car purchase festival and fashion week, promoting green consumption and boosting the fashion retail sector. Australia and Norway held live-streamed product promotions, while Iran continued to operate its JD.com National Pavilion, helping its domestic companies tap into the Chinese market.

2024年服贸会闭幕,共达成近千项成果

9月16日,2024年中国国际服务贸易交易会(简称“服贸会”)在北京闭幕。记者从闭幕新闻发布会上获悉,会期共达成成交、投资等7类近千项成果,主要集中在建筑、金融、商业服务等领域。

本届服贸会秉持“全球服务,互惠共享”理念,突出智慧服务、开放发展,举办了全球服务贸易峰会,吸引2000余家企业线下参展,6000余家企业线上参展。截至16日12时,累计入场近24.2万人,10万余名专业观众应邀参会,比去年提高20%。

国际参与度进一步提升

据介绍,今年的服贸会吸引了85个国家和国际组织设展办会,其中13个首次独立设展,数量均超上届。主宾国法国组织赛事管理、文旅服务等企业参展,与教育服务、体育服务专题联动,拓展中法合作新空间。澳大利亚携手20家企业机构参展洽谈,为担任2025年主宾国预热。线下参展企业,整体国际化率超20%,世界500强和行业龙头企业460余家。

先进科技和实体产业的融合,是此次服贸会一大亮点。成就展集中展示30余件我国服务贸易开放创新发展的代表性实物展品。各专题展集中亮相人工智能、云计算、元宇宙、6G等行业前沿技术,以及产业融合发展的新成果。全球首款搭载人工智能深度学习技术的骨科手术机器人、全球最小心脏起搏器、远程安全驾驶系统智能驾驶舱等,让观众现场感受智慧服务的魅力和便捷。

洽谈推介促进多方合作

成果发布向来是服贸会的重要看点。本届服贸会,世界500强及行业龙头企业、境内外机构等111家企业机构发布数字化、人工智能、医疗健康等领域219项成果,比上届增加80项,其中,全身精准诊疗超声系统等新品首发110项。

为促进各方合作,服贸会期间举办国际合作项目洽谈推介会等56场,其中海外对接会系列活动10场。四川、海南等10个省区市举办12场主题活动,推介优势领域和项目。

与此同时,服贸会期间还举办购车节、时装周等活动,促进绿色消费、拉动时尚购物。此外,澳大利亚、挪威会期“直播带货”,伊朗继续设置京东线上国家馆,促进本国企业走进中国市场。
