A repeat win! 'Lingnan on the Cloud' project recognized as a representative case

On September 2nd, the third China Newspaper Industry Innovation Development Conference, hosted by the National Press and Publication Administration, was held in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. During the event, the fourth list of cases highlighting in-depth integration, development, and innovation within China's newspaper industry was announced, with 60 projects recognized nationwide. Among them, the Yangcheng Evening News Group's "Lingnan on the Cloud" project, an international communication platform, was selected as an innovative case in the category of all-media communication.

In July 2024, the National Press and Publication Administration announced that 60 projects had been selected for the fourth list of cases highlighting in-depth integration, development, and innovation within China's newspaper industry. These included 17 cases in all-media communication, 21 in content supply innovation, 12 in operational service model innovation, seven in digital technology application, and three in institutional innovation. Among them, the "Lingnan on the Cloud", recommended by the Publicity Department of the CPC Guangdong Provincial Committee and submitted by the Yangcheng Evening News Group, was recognized as an innovative case in all-media communication. This marks the second consecutive year that Yangcheng Evening News has received this prestigious recognition.

The "1+2+3+N" integrated mobile communication chain of Yangcheng Evening News is a distinctive all-media communication system that spans major mobile platforms, reaching 225 million users. This system is anchored by the independently operated Yang Pai client, with a strong presence on Weibo and WeChat, creating a matrix of core, short video, and leading commercial platforms. Additionally, it boasts a selection of premium accounts that cover the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) and reach international audiences, further amplifying the mainstream narrative of the GBA and promoting Lingnan and Chinese culture on a global scale.

The "Lingnan on the Cloud" project, recognized this year, integrates production, translation, distribution, promotion, and think tank research, known as a "1+1+2+N" international communication system. It comprises "1" independently operated international website—Lingnan on the Cloud Cultural Expo, and "1" high-end think tank—the Lingnan Cultural Communication Research Institute. The project also consists of "2" overseas communication matrices, including a social media account matrix with over 5 million followers and an international media cooperation matrix that reaches over 190 million overseas viewers, facilitating communication in 14 languages, including Chinese, English, Portuguese, Japanese, Indonesian, and Greek. The project has also developed "N" (over 20) brands and channels, such as "Lingnan on the Cloud", "Y Talk", "I See China", "Bizeye", and "Bay Fusion". It has also organized major cultural exchange initiatives like the "Maritime Guangdong". Together, these efforts have gradually formed a multifaceted international communication system with a distinct Lingnan cultural identity.


梅开二度!羊城晚报“云上岭南”国际传播融平台入选中国报业深度融合发展创新案例

9月2日,由国家新闻出版署主办的第三届中国报业创新发展大会在广西南宁召开,会上发布了第四届中国报业深度融合发展创新案例,全国60个案例入选,其中羊城晚报报业集团“云上岭南”国际传播融平台入选全媒体传播类创新案例。

2024年7月,国家新闻出版署公布全国60个案例入选第四届中国报业深度融合发展创新案例,包含全媒体传播类17个,内容供给创新类21个,运营服务模式创新类12个,数字技术应用类7个,体制机制创新类3个。其中,由广东省委宣传部推荐、羊城晚报报业集团申报的“云上岭南”国际传播融平台案例,入选全媒体传播建设类创新案例。这是继2023年入选第三届中国报业深度融合发展创新案例后,羊城晚报再次获得该项殊荣。

据了解,羊城晚报“1+2+3+N”立体移动传播链是一个覆盖移动端主流平台、联结2.25亿用户的全媒体特色传播体系,该体系立足羊城派客户端自主平台建设,深耕微博、微信两大社交平台,打造核心平台、短视频平台、头部商业平台三大传播账号矩阵,并拥有一批辐射大湾区、面向海内外的精品账号,进一步壮大了粤港澳大湾区主流思想舆论声势,推动岭南文化、中华文化走向更广阔天地。

本次羊城晚报入选的“云上岭南”国际传播融平台案例,是一个集生产、译制、分发、 推广及智库研究于一体的“1+1+2+N”国际传播体系,包括“1”个自有平台——云上岭南文化博览会国际网站,“1”个高端智库——岭南文化传播研究院,“2”个海外传播矩阵——海外社交平台账号矩阵(总粉丝超500万)和境外合作媒体传播矩阵(覆盖海外受众超1. 9亿),可实现中、英、葡、日、印尼、希腊等14种语言对外传播。打造了“云上岭南”“Y Talk(寰球一席谈)”“I See China(中国探秘官)”“Bizeye(外眼点经 )”“融·湾 ”等“N”个(超过20个)渠道、内容和栏目品牌,组织实施了“山海计划”等多项大型文化交流活动,逐渐形成了一个具有岭南文化特色的多元立体国际传播体系。
