On April 27th, the five-day Phase Two of the 135th Canton Fair came to an end. While most exhibitors were dismantling their booths, some took advantage of the last wave of clients to promote their products.
During a journalist's visit, several exhibitors expressed satisfaction with their achievements during the fair.
"At this Canton Fair, we secured three orders on-site, with one order for stools reaching 100,000 pieces," said Chen Xiaohui, booth manager of Guangdong Kingdom & Bail Furniture Manufacturing Co., Ltd. She mentioned that while their company has been a regular participant in previous fairs, it was rare to close deals on-site before. Usually, orders were finalized through continuous follow-up communication after the fair.
Wang Zhonghua, a designer stationed at the booth of Guangdong Sitong Group Co., Ltd., revealed that their company secured one-third more intention orders compared to the previous fair. "We've settled on prices and other details; after we return, we'll make samples for the customers. Once confirmed, we can proceed to sign contracts," Wang said.
The Padbot robots exhibited by Guangzhou Yingbo Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. attracted the interest of many foreign buyers. Some stopped to observe while others directly inquired about the robots' functions and prices. The company's products include receptionist robots, logistics delivery robots, security patrol robots, and commercial cleaning robots. The on-site representative mentioned that almost every product had secured orders.
According to statistics, since the opening of this Canton Fair, foot traffic has been bustling, with 191,928 overseas buyers from 214 countries and regions attending, marking a 22.1% increase compared to the same period in the previous fair. Design innovation and green low-carbon initiatives were the highlights. The second phase saw 9,820 offline exhibiting companies, including over 1,400 high-quality enterprises with titles such as national-level high-tech enterprises, manufacturing single champions, and "small giants" specializing in new and unique products, an increase of 300 from the previous fair. Enterprises are increasingly focusing on using new technologies to transform and upgrade traditional industries, as well as promoting the "innovation" and "green transition" of daily consumer products. More innovative, high-quality, and low-carbon products, reflecting new quality productive forces, have emerged, becoming the "new business cards" for expanding international markets for Chinese manufacturing.
Buyers have expressed their trust in Chinese manufacturing, stating that "China has the best supply chain" and "The Canton Fair has never disappointed us."
The third phase of the 135th Canton Fair will be held from May 1st to May 5th under the theme of "Better Life." It will focus on five major sectors, including toys, maternity and baby products, fashion, household textiles, stationery, and health and leisure, spanning 21 exhibition areas. There will be 11,495 offline exhibiting companies, including 262 import exhibitors from 29 countries and regions.
