Majestic dragon emerges from the sea: Yangjiang Port Bridge successfully joined

On the morning of March 30th, the main sections of Yangjiang Port Bridge were successfully joined, connecting the east and west banks of Yangjiang Port. It also marks the completion of the road section from Yangjiang Hailing Dike to Xitou, a key project in Guangdong Province, symbolizing a solid step towards the goal of opening to traffic within 2024.

The total length of Yangjiang Port Bridge is 4,777.2 meters. The main bridge adopts a single-tower double-cable-stayed bridge structure. The steel box girder is installed in large sections. It consists of 6 segments, with a maximum segment length of 90 meters and a minimum segment length of 74.5 meters. The segment joined this time is a large-section segment measuring 88 meters, with a weight of 2,066 tons and a total lifting weight of 2,454 tons.

During the steel box girder installation, the project team kept optimizing each lifting process, reducing the lifting time from 6 hours for the first segment to 3 hours, significantly improving the construction efficiency, while managing to save energy and reduce emissions for large ship equipment.

Since the foundation construction of the main sectionsstarted in 2022, the project team has been focusing on technological innovation for simplification and selecting intelligent equipment. Advanced technologies have been used to facilitate construction, such as the self-developed bidirectional hydraulic telescopic spreader, Guangdong's first tower crane with a lifting capacity of 240 tons, and a 24-hour meteorological monitoring station. It only took 23 months from the start of the foundation construction to the joining of the steel box girders for the sections.

As of now, the construction of pile foundations, pier columns, and beam plates of Yangjiang Port Bridge have all been completed. Three pairs of stay cables for the main bridge have also been completed. The road construction of the project is 90% complete, while the traffic safety engineering is 85% complete. Currently, preparations for the steel bridge deck paving are being carried out intensively, with plans to commence the paving in September 2024.

The joining of the two sections of Yangjiang Port Bridge connects the east and west banks of Yangjiang Port. Upon completion, the bridge will significantly enhance the influence of Yangjiang Port, driving the development of industries along the route. In addition, it will save the trouble of detouring 80 kilometers from towns to the urban area, better facilitating the transportation of hundreds of thousands of people.

海上卧龙现!阳江港大桥顺利合龙

3月30日上午,阳江港大桥主桥顺利合龙,阳江港东西两岸成功“牵手”。这标志着广东省重点项目、广东滨海旅游公路阳江海陵大堤至溪头段公路实现全线贯通,朝着年内建成通车目标迈出坚实一步。

阳江港大桥全长4777.2米,主桥采用255米+255米独塔双索面斜拉桥结构形式,钢箱梁采用大节段吊装方案,分6个节段,最大梁段长度90米,最小梁段长度74.5米,合龙梁段为大里程侧88米梁段,重2066吨,总吊装重量2454吨。

在钢箱梁吊装过程中,项目团队不断优化各吊装环节,使钢箱梁吊装时间由第一片的6个小时缩短至3个小时,施工效率提升了近1倍,有效实现了大型船舶设备的节能减排。

自2022年阳江港大桥主桥桩基施工以来,项目团队从技术创新简单化、设备选型智能化入手,以先进技术保障施工推进,并自主研发了双向液压调节吊具、运用了广东第一台起重量240吨超大型塔吊、建立了24小时气象监测站等新设备确保施工。最终阳江港大桥主桥从桩基开钻至钢箱梁合龙时间仅23个月。

截至目前,阳江港大桥桩基、墩柱、梁板已全部完成,主桥斜拉索已完成3对,项目路面工程完成90%、交安工程完成85%,目前正全力推进钢桥面铺装前期准备工作,计划在2024年9月份开展钢桥面铺装。

阳江港大桥的合龙将阳江港东西两岸紧密连在一起。待大桥建成后,将极大提高阳江港的影响力和辐射力带动沿线产业发展同时,阳西溪头、上洋等镇到阳江市区需绕行80公里的历史也将正式结束,将大幅度改善数十万群众的出行条件。
