Recently, the 15-day 2023 "Fang Music World Tour" in Spain and France has just concluded.

The performer, Fang Jinlong, is a renowned Chinese folk musician and instrument collector. He claims to have collected over a thousand instruments, most of which he can actually play. In the 1980s, he discovered the lost five-stringed pipa in Japan, a traditional Chinese instrument that had been missing in China for a millennium. He then restored it and turned himself into a representative figure of the contemporary five-stringed pipa. Hailed by experts as"pathbreaking and outstanding", his pipa performances are rich in ingenuity and uniqueness. On the Chinese video platform"Bilibili," his performance videos have attracted the love of numerous young people, garnering over 1.15 million fans.

After the tour in Europe concluded, Fang and his team will head to the United Arab Emirates. On December 15th, the Chinese traditional concert themed "Music meets the Book of Songs—Fang Jinlong And His Friends" will be held at Abu Dhabi's Cultural and Arts Center.

Regarding this world tour, Fang Jinlong expressed his hope to cultivate more young Chinese musicians who can go beyond national borders and bring Chinese music into the hearts of young listeners. The European tour saw the participation of many young musicians, and their unconventional performances have gone viral on the internet. The short video featuring the performance "My Country" at Granada's Municipal Square in Spain on the first day of the tour has received nearly 4 million views in just one day; while a video clip of the performance "Dreamlike Swords" at the Palace Square in Paris also topped the trending charts on short video platforms.

The upcoming UAE leg of the 2023 "Fang Music World Tour", with Chinese traditional culture as the theme, will serve as one of the seven concerts organized by the Department of Culture and Tourism of Abu Dhabi to celebrate Abu Dhabi being awarded the title of "City of Music" by UNESCO.

In addition, Fang will hold the New China-Chic Concert titled"Chinese Music in Progress" at the Nanshan Cultural and Sports Center Theater in Shenzhen on January 19th, 2024, and at the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall in Guangzhou on January 21st, respectively. The participating band,"Da Wei Tian Long", is a prominent Chinese music ensemble selected by Fang through the Guangdong TV program"Gala of Chinese Music" from over 600 outstanding musicians nationwide, whose unique and passionate performance style is highly anticipated.

中国国乐演奏家方锦龙：把国乐推向世界舞台

历时15天的2023“方锦龙国乐”世界巡演西班牙格拉纳达、法国巴黎站系列活动近日落幕。

方锦龙是著名国乐演奏家、乐器收藏家。自言收藏有上千件乐器，而自己能演奏上百种。20世纪80年代，他在日本发现中国失传千年的五弦琵琶，将之重新复原，随后成为当代五弦琵琶的代表人物。他的琵琶演奏被专家誉为“以无法为有法，唯独秀于诸家”，极富个性和创造性。在中国视频平台“哔哩哔哩”上，方锦龙的演奏视频吸引了众多年轻人的喜爱，账号粉丝超115万个。

欧洲巡演结束后，方锦龙及其团队将前往阿联酋，12月15日在阿布扎比文化艺术中心举办《音乐·诗经》——“方锦龙和他的朋友们”音乐会。

谈及此次世界巡演，方锦龙表示，希望可以借此机会培养更多能走出国门的青年国乐艺术家，把国乐带到年轻听众的心中。此次欧洲巡演有许多年轻乐手的参与，不拘一格的表演形式在网络上得到广泛传播。巡演首日在西班牙格拉纳达市政新广场的短视频《我的祖国》，发布首日，全网浏览量已近400万人次；在巴黎夏宫广场快闪《刀剑如梦》的片段也冲上短视频平台的热搜。

即将到来的“方锦龙国乐”世界巡演阿联酋站以中国传统文化为主题，是阿布扎比旅游文化局为庆祝阿布扎比获得联合国教科文组织授予的“音乐之城”称号而举办的七场演奏会之一。

此外，方锦龙将于2024年1月19日在深圳南山文体中心大剧院、21日在广州中山纪念堂举办的两场《青春国乐进行时》——“方锦龙和他的弟子们”国潮音乐会，参演的“大威天龙”国乐潮团是方锦龙通过广东卫视节目《国乐大典》、从全国六百多名优秀乐手中挑选出来的佼佼者，他们的表演风格独特、激情四射，值得期待。
