Recently, the "Asian Freight, Logistics, and Supply Chain Awards" (AFLAS), known as the "Oscars" of the logistics industry, held its award ceremony in Singapore, where Yantian International Container Terminal (Yantian International) was honored with the Best Container Terminal in Asia of over 4 million TEUs. This is the terminal's second triumph in six years for this prestigious award.

As the world's largest of its kind, Yantian International is the preferred port for ultra-large vessels that serve as an international shipping hub in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, benefiting from its exceptional natural advantages in deep water.

Yantian International boasts 20 large-scale deep-water berths for container ships, as well as the only natural channel in the GBA that is nearly 18 meters deep and 475 meters wide. It remains unfrozen and unobstructed throughout the year, which enables round-the-clock and two-way navigation for 200,000-ton vessels and efficient access for ultra-large ships.

Since the beginning of this year, Yantian International has welcomed the maiden voyages of 21 world's largest container ships with a capacity of 24,000 TEUs. As an important node in the global supply chain, the Yantian Port handles over one-third of Guangdong Province's foreign trade volume and more than one-fourth of China's exports to the United States. According to data released by the Container Branch of the China Ports and Harbors Association, Yantian International has maintained its position as the top domestic container terminal for 20 consecutive years in terms of annual throughput.

Up to now, Yantian International has opened 16 feeder services, six feeder hub combinations, 12 inland ports, and 30 sea-rail intermodal routes, with services covering the GBA, Central China, and Southwest China. In the first half of this year, the sea-rail intermodal transport at Yantian International achieved a cumulative growth of 15% in container volume compared to the same period last year.

Yantian International always fully implements the concept of sustainability and actively fulfills its commitment to becoming a green and low-carbon port through practical actions, no matter in environmental protection or business building and operation. In November 2022, Yantian International made its appearance at the 27th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP27) as part of the China Pavilion, showcasing the charm of a green and low-carbon port to the world.

盐田国际集装箱码头再获“亚洲最佳集装箱码头”大奖

近日，堪称物流界奥斯卡的“亚洲货运、物流及供应链大奖”(AFLAS)在新加坡举行颁奖典礼，盐田国际集装箱码头（以下简称“盐田国际”）荣获“亚洲最佳集装箱码头（超400万标箱）”大奖。这是该码头六年两次勇夺该大奖。

身为全球最大的集装箱码头，盐田国际是超大型船舶首选港、粤港澳大湾区国际航运枢纽港，具有突出的深水良港天然优势。

盐田国际拥有20个大型集装箱深水泊位，以及粤港澳大湾区内唯一近18米深、475米宽，常年不冻不淤，可实现20万吨级船舶全天候、双向通航的天然航道，满足超大型船舶的高效进出。

今年以来，盐田国际已先后迎来了21艘全球最大的24000标箱级别集装箱船舶首航。作为全球供应链的一个重要节点，盐田港区承担着广东省超三分之一的外贸进出口量、全国对美出口逾四分之一的货量。在中国港口协会集装箱分会公布的数据中，盐田国际年吞吐量已连续20年高居国内码头首位。

截至目前，盐田国际已开通16条驳船支线、6个驳船组合港、12个内陆港和30条海铁联运线路，服务覆盖大湾区、华中及西南地区。今年上半年，盐田国际海铁联运累计完成标箱量同比增长15%。

从水质到空气、从建设到经营、从过去到未来，盐田国际全面贯彻绿色理念，以实际行动践行绿色低碳港口承诺。2022年11月，盐田国际亮相第27届联合国气候变化大会“中国角”，向世界展示绿色低碳港口的风采。
