Recently, in Duisburg, Germany, Dmitrij Hasenkampf, General Manager of Sales & Business Development of RTSB Group, received an interview from Yangcheng Evening News. Looking back on RTSB's story with the China-Europe Railway Express, Hasenkampf said: "Over the past 10 years, the China-Europe Railway Express under the Belt and Road Initiative has transformed the railway market. In 2013, few believed that we'd see over 10,000 block trains annually in such a short span. "
In a manner of speaking, RTSB, a European company, has witnessed the growth of China-Europe Railway Express. According to Hasenkampf, the contribution of China-Europe Railway Express is not only to bring new business opportunities for Chinese and European enterprises, but also to greatly promote the trade between China and Germany. "They have provided thousands of small and medium-sized enterprises with a speedy alternative for delivering goods between Europe and China, particularly catering to the burgeoning E-commerce sector. Notably, even large-scale industries like automotive and electronics have reaped the benefits by slashing their logistics costs, accelerating delivery times, and notably reducing their carbon footprints. "
Specifically, Hasenkampf noted that RTSB has a strong interest in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA). "The GBA is recognized as a significant economic and innovation zone for China, it's home to tech giants and benefits from major infrastructures like the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge. " According to Hasenkampf, while Hong Kong is a global financial center, Guangdong is a vibrant place for scientific and technological innovation that is considered the "Silicon Valley" of China. Therefore, GBA's role in trade and finance is indispensable. "The GBA epitomizes China's drive for global leadership in tech and finance."
RTSB Group is hopeful about the future of China Railway Express. "Hopefully, it will be sustainable, safe and green alternative to the sea and the air transportation." said Hasenkampf, "We as participants of this market have to make the product better and more reliable."
