淇澳岛坐落于广东省珠海市香洲区珠江口内西侧，是一个历史悠久、人文资源丰富和文化气息浓厚的旅游胜地。岛上高山连绵起伏，椰林环绕，百米以上山峰有18座，最高主峰望赤岭位于岛东北部，四周港湾有二斜湾、关帝湾、金星湾、石井湾等九座海湾，素有“九湾十八峰”之说。走进淇澳岛红树林牌坊，一条在滩涂上搭建的木栈道徐徐映入眼帘，漫步其中，任海风拂面，赏满目苍翠，望群鹭飞舞，观虾蟹嬉戏，让人心旷神怡。
