On August 2nd, the 2023 Fortune Global 500 list was released, with a total of 19 Guangdong companies on the list featuring several highlights. An enterprise in Dongguan has been on the list for the first time. Automobile enterprises have significantly increased their rankings, and state-owned enterprises in Guangdong have once again expanded their capacity.

According to the statistics based on the place of registration of the enterprises listed, among the 19 Guangdong enterprises listed this year, the top three are Ping An Insurance (Group) Company of China, Ltd., China Southern Power Grid Company Limited and Huawei Investment & Holding Co., Ltd., ranking 33, 83 and 111 respectively in the list of Fortune Global 500.

In terms of city, the Guangdong enterprises listed are based in the Pearl River Delta region, including 10 in Shenzhen, 6 in Guangzhou, 6 in Hong Kong, 2 in Foshan, and 1 in Dongguan. It is worth mentioning that with Luxshare Precision Industry Co., Ltd. becoming a newcomer in the ranking, this is the first Dongguan enterprise being on the list.

In terms of industry, the advantages in industries such as electronics and automobiles are relatively obvious. GAC Group has been on the list for 11 consecutive years, ranking 165 this year, 21 places higher than last year; BYD is the Chinese enterprise with the highest ranking improvement among the enterprises on this list, up 224 places from last year and ranking 212.

This year, a total of three enterprises in Guangdong joined the "group chat" of Fortune Global 500, namely, Guangzhou Industrial Investment Holdings Group, Guangdong Guangxin Holdings Group Ltd., and Luxshare Precision Industry Co., Ltd., which were newly listed, ranking 414, 427, and 479.

In particular, the three first listed Guangdong enterprises are all involved in the manufacturing industry. Luxshare Precision is a leading enterprise engaged in precision manufacturing of electronic components; Guangzhou Industrial Investment Holdings Group is an industrial operation and investment group that focuses on advanced manufacturing which took less than four years from its establishment to join the Fortune Global 500; Guangxin Group has transformed from a foreign trade enterprise to a capital investment company with manufacturing as the main body and capital operation as its advantage, becoming the first provincial state-owned enterprise in Guangdong on the list.

19家粤企上榜《财富》世界500强

8月2日，2023年《财富》世界500强排行榜发布，共有19家广东企业上榜。东莞首次有企业冲进榜单、汽车企业排名显著上升、广东上榜国企再度扩容等成为新亮点。

以上榜企业注册地为准统计，今年19家上榜的广东企业中，排名前三的企业为中国平安保险（集团）股份有限公司、中国南方电网有限责任公司和华为投资控股有限公司，分别位列世界500强排行榜的第33位、第83位和第111位。

从城市分布来看，上榜的广东企业集中于珠三角地区，其中深圳10家、广州6家、香港6家、佛山2家、东莞1家。值得一提的是，随着立讯精密工业股份有限公司成为排行榜的新面孔，东莞首次有企业冲进世界500强。

从行业上看，电子、汽车等产业领域优势较为明显。广汽集团连续11年上榜，今年排名第165位，比去年上升21位；比亚迪是此次上榜企业中排名提升最多的中国公司，比去年上升224位，位列第212位。

今年，广东共有3家企业加入世界500强“群聊”，分别是广州工业投资控股集团有限公司、广东省广新控股集团有限公司、立讯精密工业股份有限公司新晋入榜，位列第414位、第427位和第479位。

值得一提的是，首次上榜的3家粤企均与制造业相关。立讯精密是从事电子元器件精密制造业龙头企业；广州工控是一家聚焦先进制造领域的产业运营及投资集团，从成立到跻身世界500强仅用不到四年时间；广新集团从外贸企业转型为以制造业为主体、以资本运营为优势的资本投资公司，成为广东首家上榜的省属国企。
