To meet the new needs of cultural and tourism consumption and enrich related products, the Department of Culture and Tourism of Guangdong Province officially released a new series of Guangdong Culture and Tourism Passport themed "Enjoy Landscapes". From June 1st, after registering with names by making an appointment online or going to the check-in points in the attractions in person, citizens and tourists can get the passport for free and start their stamp-collecting journey with the passport.
The "Enjoy Landscapes" Guangdong Culture and Tourism Passport is the sixth series of the passport. Featuring green ecology and health preservation, the sixth passport has selected 12 representative cultural and tourism attractions from six cities including Shaoguan, Heyuan, Meizhou, Qingyuan, Yunfu, and Jieyang as check-in points.
This passport focuses on showcasing the natural beauty of Guangdong like blue skies, green forests and clear waters. In addition to the original functions of checking in, stamping, and drawing pins, some check-in points have been equipped with "stamp robots" and upgraded the games for checking in.
The detailed rules are as followed: Travelers who complete one check-in at an attraction can draw two commemorative pins; completing check-in at six attractions can get an advanced stamp and a pin collection box; completing check-ins at all 12 attractions can have a chance to compete for the ultimate prize.
The commemorative pins with innovative design concepts are also a feature. Twelve commemorative pins are designed based on the characteristic elements of each check-in attraction. What's more, all of the pins can be assembled into a cotton flower worth appreciating and collecting.
As an important exploration to improve the quality of culture and tourism consumption, and to promote the integration of culture and tourism, the Guangdong Culture and Tourism Passport project has been carefully maintained for more than four years. Five series have been released for now: Broaden Horizons, Greater Bay Area, Red Cultural Tourism, Chaoshan China, and Silk Road, becoming a well-known culture and tourism project. All six series passports have covered 21 cities and regions in Guangdong benefiting nearly 100 cultural and tourism units, and has attracted numerous people to participate actively.
