According to the Guangdong Sub-administration of GACC, from January to April this year, Guangdong's foreign trade imports and exports amounted to 2.52 trillion yuan. Among them, exports reached 1.68 trillion yuan with an increase of 5.4%. Affected by weak overseas demand and high cardinality, Guangdong's foreign trade imports and exports slightly decreased in Q1. However, comprehensively Guangdong's foreign trade still develops resiliently and vigorously with many highlights, showing a stable and positive trend.
Guangdong's trade structure has been continuously improved. To be more specific, the proportion of general trade and bonded logistics has increased. From January to April, Guangdong's general trade reached 1.47 trillion yuan with an increase of 4.9% and a year-on-year increase of over 3%, accounting for 58.1% of total import and export value. The recovery of cross-border logistics has promoted the development of bonded businesses, whose imports and export reached 428.54 billion yuan, an increase of 11.1%.
In terms of foreign trade entities, private enterprises are still the majority of foreign trade entities. From January to April, the import and export of Guangdong's private enterprises reached 1.53 trillion yuan with an increase of 6.5%, accounting for 60.5% of the total import and export value. During the same period, foreign enterprises reached 854.45 billion yuan, accounting for 33.8%.
Since the implementation of RCEP, Guangdong's trading partners have become more diverse. From January to April, Guangdong's imports and exports to major trading partners ASEAN and the European Union increased by 7.8% and 0.3% respectively, while the one to countries related to the Belt and Road Initiative increased by 9.8%, accounting for 29.3% of the total import and export value; for Brazil and Chile, 30.7% and 4.6% respectively.
In terms of exports, the total exports of electric vehicles, lithium-ion batteries, solar batteries and agro-products are impressive. From January to April, the export of mechanical and electrical products in Guangdong increased by 2.3%, accounting for 66% of Guangdong's total export value. Under sustainable development, there is a strong demand for green and low-carbon products in the market. As a result, the total exports of electric vehicles, lithium-ion batteries and solar batteries increased by 950%, 35.4%, and 102.4%, respectively. In addition, the export of agro-products has become a new signature for Guangdong's foreign trade, with exports of dried, fresh fruits, and vegetables increasing by 51.7% and 37.3%, respectively.
At the same time, the import of bulk commodities and consumer goods has increased. With Guangdong's overall economy improving, the demand for bulk commodities is strong. For example, from January to April, imports of iron ore, coal, and crude oil increased by 22.7%, 27.6%, and 13.4%, respectively. What's more, under the background of the rebound in social retail consumption, the imports of pearls, gemstones, semiprecious stones, and jewelry increased by 28% and 670% respectively.
前4个月广东外贸出口保持增长,特色农产品出口成新名片
据海关总署广东分署统计,今年1-4月,广东外贸进出口2.52万亿元。受海外需求走弱、高基数等影响,1-4月广东外贸进出口微降,但从各维度看,广东外贸发展韧性强、亮点多、活力足的基本面没有改变,总体延续稳中向好的态势。其中,出口1.68万亿元,增长5.4%。
广东贸易结构不断优化,一般贸易、保税物流比重提升。1-4月,广东一般贸易进出口1.47万亿元,增长4.9%,占进出口总值的58.1%,比去年同期提升超3个百分点。跨境物流全面恢复促进了保税业务发展,以保税物流方式进出口4285.4亿元,增长11.1%。
从外贸主体看,民营企业保持第一大外贸经营主体地位。1-4月,广东民营企业进出口1.53万亿元,增长6.5%,占进出口总值的60.5%。同期,外商投资企业进出口8544.5亿元,占33.8%。
RCEP实施以来,贸易伙伴更加多元。1-4月,广东对主要贸易伙伴东盟、欧盟进出口分别增长7.8%、0.3%;对“一带一路”沿线国家进出口增长9.8%,占进出口总值的29.3%。此外,对拉美的巴西、智利分别增长30.7%、4.6%。
从出口来看,新三样、农产品出口表现亮眼。1-4月,广东机电产品出口增长2.3%,占广东出口总值的66%。在可持续发展趋势下,绿色低碳产品市场需求旺盛,电动载人汽车、锂电池、太阳能电池分别增长9.5倍、35.4%、102.4%。此外,特色农产品出口成为广东外贸发展的新名片,干鲜瓜果、蔬菜出口分别增长51.7%、37.3%。
从进口来看,大宗商品、消费品进口增长。广东经济运行持续整体好转,对大宗商品需求旺盛,1-4月,铁矿砂、煤炭、原油等进口分别增长22.7%、27.6%、13.4%。社会零售消费回暖,带动珍珠宝石及半宝石、首饰进口分别增长28%、6.7倍。
