On May 14th, the 2023 Greater Bay Area Urban Cycling Challenge kicked off at the Zengjiang Gallery Scenic Area in Zengcheng District, Guangzhou. The cycling challenge has become one of the top ten sports events in the Greater Bay Area. This year's cycling challenge attracted 300 cyclists from all over the country.

The competition was divided into three categories: men's road elite group (120 people, single lap of 5KM, 9 laps, 45KM), men's road mass group (130 people, single lap of 5KM, 7 laps, 35KM), and women's road group (50 people, single lap of 5KM, 5 laps, 25KM). The track is smooth and undulating, with the Zengjiang Gallery Scenic Area as the starting and ending point. The circuit is a 5-kilometer circular route consistingof the scenic avenue and the scenic south road.

After fierce competition, the winners of the three categories emerged. "I feel good to participate in this competition. Zengcheng has beautiful scenery, and smooth road conditions. I experience the charm of this city through cycling. The beautiful scenery seemed to cheer me up, and this was a very fruitful trip for me! I just finished the award ceremony, and now I want to try some of the famous foods in Zengcheng such as wonton, chicken rice, abalone, shrimp dumplings, and fish buns to supplement my energy! We will meet again next time to compete," said a winning cyclist from Dongguan.

Zengcheng also launched five boutique cycling routes, including (1) the Zengjiang Gallery · Lihu Bida leisure experience route, (2) the rural revitalization · Silk Seedling source leisure challenge route, (3) the Zengjiang culture and tourism · Zhongguo cuisine leisure sports route, (4) the Xiangu hometown · Baishuixian Waterfall sports experience route, and (5) the colorful Zengcheng · Sweet Lixiang sports challenge route. These routes offer ecological leisure, historical culture, and characteristic food. Italso passes the new city center, meeting the leisure and fitness needs of different people. By integrating"sports + culture + tourism", Zengcheng is further enhancing its reputation as a beautiful green city.

300名选手相约增城！2023环粤港澳大湾区自行车挑战赛启动

5月14日，2023环粤港澳大湾区城市自行车挑战赛在广州市增城区增江画廊景区正式启动。环粤港澳大湾区城市自行车挑战赛已成为粤港澳大湾区十大品牌赛事之一。此次自行车挑战赛共吸引了来自全国各地300位自行车骑手和骑行爱好者齐聚增城，“一决高下”。

比赛分为三个组别：男子公路精英组（120人，单圈5KM，9圈，45KM）、男子公路大众组（130人，单圈5KM，7圈，35KM）、女子公路组（50人，单圈5KM，5圈，25KM）。赛道为起伏平缓的路面，以增江画廊风景区为起终点，经景观大道和景观南路形成单圈5公里的环形闭合。

经过激烈比拼，三个组别的翘楚诞生。“这次参赛体验非常好，增城风景优美，路况平稳，通过骑行感受到了这种城市的魅力，优美的风景仿佛在为我加油打气，这次发挥超常，于我而言是一趟收获满满的安排！刚刚参赛完颁奖仪式，增城的正果云吞、朱村鸡饭、石滩‘鲍鱼’、腊圃虾堆、新塘鱼包等等，我都想赶紧去尝一尝补充能量！山水有相逢，我们相约下次再战。”来自东莞的获奖车手表示。

据介绍，增城还发布了5条骑行精品线路，包括增江画廊·荔湖碧道休闲体验路线、乡村振兴·丝苗源地休闲挑战路线、增江文旅·正果美食休闲运动路线、仙姑故里·白水仙瀑运动体验路线以及多彩增城·甜美荔乡运动挑战线路，贯穿生态休闲、历史文化、特色美食以及新城市中心，满足不同人群的休闲娱乐和健身挑战的需求。通过积极打造“体育+文化+旅游”融合之旅，进一步擦亮绿美增城名片。(更多新闻资讯，请关注羊城派 pai.ycwb.com)
