Planting in spring and harvesting in autumn is common almost everywhere, but, for its unique climate, Gaobu, Dongguan witnesses both planting and harvesting at the same time in spring.

In mid-spring, the 30 mu of pearl guavas in Luxi Village, Gaobu Town are ready to reap, creating a majestic harvest scene with thousands of guavas in the field. Walking into the guava garden in Luxi Village, you can find the fragrance of guavas bending branches. Farmers are seen busy picking fresh fruits for sale.

"The climate in Guangdong is warm and humid, and there are two harvest seasons for guava a year. The first season is from mid-March to early May, and the second lasts from mid-July to early September," said Aunt Mei, who is in charge of the garden, while picking guavas. "During the peak harvest season, more than 1,000 catties of guavas can be collected in the garden every day, and the current crop can reach 30,000 catties."

Em meados da Primavera, as 30 mu de goiabas pérola na Vila de Luxi, na cidade de Gaobu, estão prontas a colher, criando uma cena de colheita majestosa com milhares de goiabas no campo. Caminhando para o jardim de goiabas na Aldeia de Luxi, pode encontrar a fragrância de ramos de goiabas dobrados. Os agricultores são vistos ocupados a apanhar frutas frescas para venda.
"O clima em Guangdong é quente e húmido, e há duas épocas de colheita de goiabas por ano. A primeira época é de meados de Março a princípios de Maio, e a segunda dura de meados de Julho a princípios de Setembro", disse a tia Mei, responsável pelo jardim, enquanto colhia as goiabas. "Durante a época alta da colheita, mais de 1.000 gatos de goiabas podem ser colhidos diariamente no jardim, e a colheita actual pode atingir 30.000 gatos".

春种秋收，是传统的农业生产模式，但在气候条件得天独厚的东莞高埗，耕耘与收获在春天同时上演。仲春时节，高埗镇卢溪村的30亩珍珠番石榴进入成熟期，田间一派千果万果压枝低的丰收景象。

走进卢溪村番石榴种植园，果香扑鼻，一颗颗饱满的番石榴压弯枝头，园内工人正忙碌地采摘鲜果供应销售。“广东气候温润，番石榴一年丰收季有两季。第一季就是3月中旬到5月初，第二季就是7月中旬到9月初。”种植园负责人媚姨一边摘果，一边介绍，“在丰收旺季，园里每天可收果1000多斤，当前这一季产量可达3万斤。”
