On March 22, the site of No.28 Nanshi Road, Haizhu District, Guangzhou, was cleared of Zhennan Fortress and prison of the Republic of China in the late Qing Dynasty, among which 132 lockers were identified and 103 relics (sets) were unearthed. In addition to the prison, the fort of the Qing Dynasty and other important remainswere also found. "The excavation of Nanshitou Prison site is a very important discovery in the Red Culture in Guangzhou." said an official from the Cultural Heritage Bureau of Guangzhou.

3月22日，广州海珠区南石路28号地块清理出清末镇南炮台、民国监狱等重要遗存，其中可确认监仓132间，出土遗物103件（套）。除民国监狱之外，该地块此次还清理出清代炮台等重要遗存。广州市文物局相关负责人表示“南石头监狱遗址的发掘，是广州红色文化领域非常重要的一次发现。”
