Um novo amigo "picuinhas" -- Megapleonum Shenzhen, uma nova espécie que vive na água da Reserva Ecológica de Shenzhen. É o segundo membro do género Megalodon e é endémico de Shenzhen. De acordo com o descobridor Huang Chao, embora Shenzhen seja uma cidade moderna próspera, tem protegido muitas florestas e riachos do desenvolvimento, fornecendo um lar para muitas criaturas aquáticas.
