Guangdong Han Opera, known as “Southern Peony” and formerly known as “Waijiang Opera”, is a type of Hakka drama in Guangdong Province. Jinlian, a Guangdong Han Opera Film, is based on the Chinese literary classic Plum in the Golden Vase and tells the familiar story of Pan Jinlian. The production team will shoot the film using cutting-edge production technology such as 4K video and Dolby panorama sound. Once the movie is released, the graceful figure of Han opera and its perfect singing will be presented through high-tech filming, which can not only capture the spirit of the classic art form, but also reign in a new era of vitality for the traditional drama.
