Chen Aisen from Guangdong and his partner Cao Yuan won a silver medal in the men’s synchronized 10-meter platform diving final at the Tokyo Olympic Games on July 26. Tan Songxian, Chen’s mother, said after the race that she was still a big fan of her son even though he didn’t win the gold medal. When Chen returns home, she will prepare his favorite Cantonese soup and steamed bass for him.
