The fourth Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area High-quality Talent Development Conference will be held at the Greater Bay Area University in Songshan Lake, Dongguan, from October 25th to 26th, 2026. Themed "Talents Gather in the Bay Area, Innovation Creates the Future," the conference is jointly organized by Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao. It will feature five main components: competitions, discussions, exhibitions, business matching and a talent carnival.Since its launch in 2023, the conference has been held in Guangzhou, Hong Kong and Macao, completing its first round of hosting across the three regions. It has drawn over one million participants online and offline in total. The conference has established a regular cooperation mechanism among the three regions, with innovative measures such as cross-boundary professional practice and mutual recognition of qualifications gradually put into effect. In 2026, the conference returns to Guangdong, with Dongguan as its host city.

This year's conference will be held jointly with the third Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Doctoral and Postdoctoral Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, bringing the conference and competition together. Relevant officials from central government departments, government leaders from Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, as well as leading scientists, business leaders and young talent from around the world, will gather in Songshan Lake. The conference will take place alongside the final of the innovation and entrepreneurship competition, creating a platform to connect participating projects and high-level talent with industrial capital and incubators. Award-winning projects will have access to services including policy support, investment and financing roadshows, and incubation space, forming a closed loop that uses competitions to attract talent, foster innovation and connect talent with industry.

The conference will feature sessions including themed open-mic sessions, exhibitions, business-matching activities and a talent carnival. The open-mic sessions will bring together strategic scientists, industry leaders and young scholars to discuss issues such as cross-boundary talent mobility and collaborative innovation in science and technology. The themed exhibition will showcase achievements in talent development and cutting-edge scientific and technological innovation across Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao. The business-matching area will invite key enterprises and major platforms to present their talent recruitment needs. Designed specifically for young talent, the carnival will combine experiences in GBA innovation and technology with elements of Lingnan culture.

第四届粤港澳大湾区人才高质量发展大会将于2026年10月25日至26日在东莞松山湖大湾区大学举行。大会以“才汇湾区 博创未来”为主题，由粤港澳三地联合主办，集“赛、论、展、洽、嘉年华”五大板块于一体。

该大会自2023年创办以来，已先后在广州、香港、澳门举办，完成三地首次轮办，累计吸引线上线下超百万人次参与。大会搭建起三地常态化合作机制，跨境执业、资格互认等创新举措相继落地。2026年大会回到广东、落地东莞。

本届大会与第三届粤港澳大湾区博士博士后创新创业大赛联合举办，实现“会赛合一”。国家部委有关负责同志、粤港澳三地政府领导，以及全球顶尖科学家、领军企业家和青年才俊将齐聚松山湖。大会与博创赛决赛同步进行，为参赛项目、高层次人才与产业资本、孵化园区搭建对接桥梁，获奖项目可获政策匹配、投融资路演与空间孵化等服务，形成“以赛促引、以赛促创、产才对接”闭环。

大会设置专题开放麦、主题展览、洽谈对接、人才嘉年华等板块。开放麦汇聚战略科学家、产业领军人才与青年学者，围绕人才跨境流动、科技协同创新等议题献策。主题展集中展示三地人才工作成果与前沿科创成果。洽谈区组织重点企业、重大平台发布引才需求。嘉年华专为青年人才打造，融合湾区科创体验与岭南文化元素。
