On September 26th, the Greek-flagged vessel ALPHA PRIDE, which departed from Singapore carrying 69,000 tons of soybeans, successfully berthed directly at the Chaozhou Asia-Pacific Fuel Storage Public General Terminal. This was the first foreign trade vessel carrying imported soybeans to berth at the terminal since it was approved in August as the first designated regulatory site for inbound grain in eastern Guangdong and western Fujian. The arrival marks a new breakthrough in bringing imported grain directly to Chaozhou Port by ocean-going vessels.

Previously, soybean imports for Chaozhou Port had to be transshipped through ports such as Shenzhen and then transferred to Chaozhou Port by domestic vessels. This process not only increased transportation costs and transit times, but also created risks of cargo loss and vessel demurrage caused by port congestion. Direct berthing by foreign vessels allows local grain and edible oil processing enterprises such as Yihai Kerry to bypass several intermediate steps and helps stabilize raw material supplies. It also diversifies the range of imported commodities handled through foreign trade at Chaozhou Port, helping strengthen the region's ability to secure grain and edible oil supplies and supporting the clustering of grain and edible oil processing industries in the port area.

To ensure the vessel's safe berthing and smooth unloading, staff from the Chaozhou Maritime Safety Administration provided proactive services during the approval procedures and opened a green channel for international vessels entering and departing the port, enabling vessels to enter the port with zero waiting time. On the day ALPHA PRIDE entered the port, the Chaozhou maritime authorities adopted a combined approach involving maritime patrols, aerial patrols and remote monitoring. Relying on the smart maritime supervision system, they remotely monitored the vessel's movements to ensure that the waterway remained clear and orderly.

潮州港首艘运载粮食外轮顺利直靠

9月26日，从新加坡起航，装载6.9万吨黄豆的希腊籍外轮“阿尔法骄傲”轮顺利直靠潮州亚太燃油仓储公共通用码头（配送基地）。据悉，这是该码头自今年8月份获批粤东、闽西首个进境粮食指定监管场地以来，首次接靠直接进口大豆的外贸船舶，标志着进口粮食在潮州港“远洋直达”迎来新突破。

此前，潮州港进口大豆需在深圳等口岸中转、再经内贸船舶二次转运进港，既增加了运输成本和运输周期，也带来货物损耗和船舶压港滞期风险。外轮直靠为益海嘉里等本地粮油加工企业省去诸多中间环节、稳定原料供应，也丰富了潮州港外贸进口货种，对增强区域粮油保供能力、带动临港粮油加工产业集聚具有重要意义。

为保障该轮安全靠泊、顺利卸货，在手续审批上，潮州海事工作人员靠前服务，开通国际航行船舶进出口岸“绿色通道”，实现船舶进口岸“零等待”。在“阿尔法骄傲”轮进港当日，潮州海事部门采取“海巡+空巡+远程管控”模式，依托智慧海事监管系统远程监控船舶动态，全力保障航道畅通有序。
