City Life|About one in every five pomelos grown in China comes from Meizhou, making the city one of the country’s major pomelo-producing regions. Meizhou is home to two major varieties: Golden Pomelo and Honey Pomelo. Dabu County is a major production hub for Meizhou Honey Pomelo, with a planting area of 220,000 mu. Known as “China’s Hometown of Honey Pomelo,”Dabu is also home to the largest honey pomelo-growing area in Guangdong Province.#citylife

“全国每五个柚子，就有一个产自梅州。”梅州是全国第二大柚类产区，品种以金柚（沙田柚）、蜜柚为主。其中，大埔县是梅州蜜柚主产区，全县种植面积达22万亩，是“中国蜜柚之乡”、广东省最大的蜜柚种植基地。
