The launch of autumn collections marks a key window of opportunity for brands to gain market share. The event made full use of Guangdong Fashion Week as a platform for new product launches and runway debuts, bringing together more than 100 fashion brands from Guangdong. "In the past, we competed on production capacity and order fulfillment speed. Now, the market has changed. Clients demand both quick-response production and original designs. Guangdong's complete textile and garment industry chain is our greatest competitive advantage," said Mr. Huang, head of a garment factory based in Humen, Dongguan.

In the first half of this year, Guangdong's garment exports reached 74.12 billion yuan, up 7.5% year on year, 8.2 percentage points higher than the national average.

据悉，截至2025年底，广东全省纺织服装规上企业接近4300家，营收近3600亿元，占全国约12%；其中服装服饰业营收超1700亿元、约占全国16%，年服装产量超30亿件。今年上半年，广东服装出口达741.2亿元，同比增长7.5%，高出全国平均水平8.2个百分点。
