On the afternoon of September 11th, six second-generation, high-end, intelligent enclosed marine aquaculture cages built by Guangdong Blue Water Deep Sea Equipment Technology Co., Ltd., based in Huilai Lingang Industrial Park, Jieyang City, were officially shipped to Norway from the Blue Water Deep-Sea General-Purpose Terminal.

This is the world's first enclosed marine aquaculture cage project, marking the successful entry of high-end marine equipment manufacturing from Huilai, Jieyang, Guangdong, into the global high-end market.

The cages were custom-built for the Norwegian company Seafarming Systems AS. The end users are Leroy and Salmar, two of the world's top three marine aquaculture giants. The cages will be used to farm Atlantic salmon in Norwegian waters. Each pen is circular in shape, with an outer diameter of 57.4 meters, a height of 14 meters, a weight of 750 metric tons, and a water-holding capacity of 70,000 cubic meters. The cages feature remote automatic control and unmanned operation, and each has an annual production capacity of 2,200 tons. The project cost approximately 120 million yuan in total and took just six months to build.

In recent years, Huilai County, Jieyang City, has leveraged its advantageous location adjacent to the port to focus on strategic emerging industries such as marine equipment manufacturing, thereby promoting development across the entire marine economy value chain. The successful export of this high-end marine engineering equipment represents a significant breakthrough in the international expansion of Jieyang's manufacturing sector. It will promote the development and upgrading of port-related industries, providing strong momentum for high-quality development.

广东揭阳造出世界首创深海养殖网箱交付挪威市场

9月11日下午，位于揭阳市惠来县临港产业园的广东蓝水深远海装备科技有限公司承建的6套第二代高端智能封闭式海洋养殖网箱，在蓝水深远海通用码头正式发运挪威。

这是全世界首创的封闭式海洋养殖网箱项目，标志着广东揭阳惠来高端海洋装备制造成功打入全球高端市场。

据了解，该批网箱为挪威Seafarming Systems AS公司定制，最终用户是全世界排名前三名的海洋养殖巨头Leroy和Salmar，用于挪威海域养殖大西洋鲑鱼（三文鱼）。网箱为圆形结构，单体外径57.4米、高14米、重750吨、容水量7万立方米，具备远程自动控制、无人值守能力，单箱年产能2200吨。该项目总造价约1.2亿元人民币，建造周期仅6个月。

近年来，揭阳市惠来县依托临港区位优势，聚焦海洋装备制造等战略性新兴产业，推动海洋经济全链条发展。此次高端海工装备成功出口，是揭阳市制造业国际化的重要突破，将拉动临港产业集聚升级，为高质量发展注入强劲蓝色动能。
