Art and Culture | At the CMG 2026 Spring Festival Gala, the dance performance Ancient Rhythm of the Silk Road quickly went viral, captivating viewers with the mysterious beauty of “Qiuci Blue.” Running for 3 minutes and 58 seconds, the performance was adapted from a key section of the dance drama Qiuci, transforming millennia-old grotto murals into dynamic, flowing movements and creating one of the evening’s most memorable cultural moments. Directed by Tong Ruirui, the full-length dance drama Qiuci will premiere at Guangzhou Opera House on September 4 and 5, bringing the rich cultural heritage of the Silk Road, spanning thousands of years, to the stage in Guangzhou. #artandculture
