In November 1991, China formally joined the Asia‑Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC). Since then, China has taken an active and in‑depth part in APEC‑wide cooperation across all fields, playing an important and constructive role in advancing APEC’s cooperation agenda.
Since 2012, Chinese President Xi Jinping has attended every APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting. He has elaborated on China’s views and propositions on major issues including global and regional situations, Asia‑Pacific regional cooperation and APEC’s future development, contributing positively and constructively to the success of each meeting.
Marking the 100‑day countdown to the 33rd APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting, we present 10 posters featuring key quotes from President Xi Jinping on APEC cooperation to revisit the original aspiration of APEC cooperation.
