At 2:00 p.m. on August 4th, Xiaomo International Logistics Portin the Shenshan Special Cooperation Zone(hereinafter referred to as "Xiaomo Port") was bustling with activity as the BYD Changsharoll-on/roll-off (ro-ro) vessel carrierdeparted the berth carrying 6,068 BYD new energy vehiclesbound for the Port of Khor Fakkan in the United Arab Emirates(UAE).

The shipment not only set a new record for the largest single vehicle export from Xiaomo Port, but also marked the official launch of the Xiaomo Port-UAE international ro-ro shipping route, which will provide more convenient and efficient logistics services for China-UAE economic and trade exchanges.

The new route's destination, the Port of Khor Fakkan, is one of the UAE's major deep-water ports. Located on the western coast of the Gulf of Oman, it is one of the few ports in the Middle East with direct access to the Indian Ocean without passing through the Strait of Hormuz. This geographical advantage has made it an increasingly important logistics hub linking Asia, Africa and Europe amid escalating US-Israel-Iran conflicts.

Accordingly, the launch of the Xiaomo Port-UAE international ro-ro shipping route is expected to shorten overall transportation time by three to five days, providing stronger support for faster overseas deliveriesand helping enterprises expand their presence in the Middle East market.

Since commencing operations on December 28th, 2021, Xiaomo Port has opened 12 international ro-ro shipping routes for automobiles, covering seven major global regions, including Southeast Asia, the Middle East, the Mediterranean, Europe, South America, Oceania and Africa, providing strong support for the stability of the automotive industrial and supply chains.

“深汕小漠港-阿联酋”滚装航线开通

8月4日14时，深圳市深汕特别合作区小漠国际物流港（以下简称“小漠港”）一片繁忙，满载6068辆比亚迪新能源汽车的比亚迪“长沙号”滚装船缓慢驶离泊位，奔赴阿联酋豪尔费坎港。

此次作业不仅刷新了小漠港单次最大整车出运量纪录，更标志着小漠港正式开通“小漠港-阿联酋”滚装外贸航线，将为中阿经贸往来提供更便捷高效的物流服务。

新航线目的地豪尔费坎港，是阿联酋重要的深水港之一，位于阿曼湾西侧，是中东地区少数几个直接面向印度洋、无需经过霍尔木兹海峡就能进出的港口。这一地理优势使其在美以伊冲突加剧后，成为连接亚、非、欧的重要物流枢纽。

因此，“小漠港-阿联酋”滚装外贸新航线的开通，将整体运输时间压缩3至5天，为企业海外交付加速、抢占中东市场提供有力保障。

自2021年12月28日开港以来，小漠港已累计开通汽车滚装外贸航线12条，覆盖东南亚、中东、地中海、欧洲、南美洲、澳洲、非洲等全球七大核心区域，有力保障了汽车产业链供应链稳定。
