City Life | The first main tower of the Xijiang River Grand Bridge, a three-tower cable-stayed bridge on the Zhuhai–Zhaoqing High-Speed Railway, has been successfully completed. Spanning the Xijiang River, the project will now enter the next construction phase, including large-scale girder lifting and cable installation, bringing the bridge closer to its planned closure. The Zhuhai–Zhaoqing High-Speed Railway is Guangdong's first 350 km/h high-speed railway to be independently invested in and managed by the provincial government. The line connects Zhuhai, Jiangmen, Foshan, and Zhaoqing, and will also provide access to Guangzhou's new airport through its wider rail network connections. Once operational, the railway is expected to reduce travel time between major cities along the Pearl River Delta corridor to around one hour, further strengthening regional connectivity across the Greater Bay Area. #citylife

近日，珠肇高铁西江特大桥三塔斜拉桥首塔顺利封顶。大桥凌云雄峙、横亘西江，即将全面转入主梁吊装及挂索工序，为如期合龙奠定了坚实基础。珠肇高铁是广东省自主投资建设管理的第一条时速350公里高铁，连接珠海、江门、佛山、肇庆，主线接入广州新机场，沿线珠三角主要城市间均将实现1小时通达。
