As the 2026 World Cup reaches its peak, a special “Animal World Cup” kicked off at Guangzhou Zoo on July 4. Pandas, Asian elephants, and muntjacs turned into soccer stars, each showing off their skills. Meanwhile, the zoo’s newest resident – a lesser anteater – made its public debut as a “defender.”

2026年世界杯激战正酣，7月4日的广州动物园里，一场别开生面的“动物世界杯”也拉开了帷幕。大熊猫、亚洲象、黄麂等纷纷化身球星，各显其能；盘龙苑新晋加盟的小食蚁兽更是首次公开亮相，以“后卫”身份加入这场消暑狂欢。
