Art and Culture | On April 24, center stage at the Bolshoi Theatre, the spotlight fell on a graceful “swan” from Guangdong, China.

In 1877, the iconic ballet Swan Lake premiered here, marking a milestone in Western classical ballet. Today, Swan, an acrobatic drama produced by the Guangzhou Acrobatic Troupe of China, returns to the very same stage. As the only Chinese production invited, it is featured in the theatre's 250th anniversary celebration.

1877年，著名芭蕾舞剧《天鹅湖》在这里首演，代表着西方古典芭蕾的巅峰。而今，广州市杂技艺术剧院创作的杂技剧《天鹅》站上了同一个舞台，作为唯一受邀的中国剧目，参加莫斯科大剧院250周年庆典。
