"Except for me, all employees in the company are AI." Recently, during the 139th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair), many foreign trade professionals shared their experiences and skills in using advanced technologies such as AI to generate massive revenue with micro-enterprises. With the rapid development of AI technology, One-Person Companies (OPCs) and "super individuals" that achieve large-scale operations with small teams are witnessing explosive growth in 2026.

Geng Lamei and Xia Tao, founders of Dongguan Huimao E-commerce Co., Ltd., have been entrepreneurs in Shenzhen for eight years. The couple targeted the drop-shipping needs of small and medium-sized overseas sellers, providing one-stop agency services covering product selection, sourcing, quality inspection, packaging, and logistics.
To address the primary pain point of warehouse management, Xia Tao utilized AI to develop internal customized plugins that automatically plan storage allocation based on order types. At the same time, these plugins interface with ERP data to capture order and inventory information, reconstructing standardized shipping processes. Additionally, the couple used AI to optimize end-to-end operations, improving the accuracy of customer acquisition, refining marketing copy, and assisting in website design.

"Altogether, AI helps us save nearly 500,000 yuan in costs every year," said Xia Tao. "Regarding payments, we also have support from XTransfer. Customers pay directly in their local currencies. Payments that used to take days to arrive can now be settled in as fast as 10 minutes. Furthermore, risk management services provide protection, allowing us to focus on our business with peace of mind."
The latest issue of the "China Small and Medium Enterprises (B2B) Merchandise Export Purchasing Manager Index" (XTransfer PMI) shows that the XTransfer PMI was 51.56% in March 2026, indicating a positive export trend for SMEs. With the rapid development of artificial intelligence technology, more and more "super individuals" will emerge in the field of foreign trade in the future, serving as the backbone of global trade.
