On April 19th, the 2026 Beijing E-Town Half Marathon and Humanoid Robot Half Marathon were held, with over 100 humanoid robots competing alongside 12,000 runners. "Lightning", developed by Honor, finished first with a net time of 50 minutes and 26 seconds, surpassing the human men's half-marathon world record and creating a new history in man-machine racing.

The scale of this year's event expanded nearly fivefold compared to last year, attracting over 100 teams from 11 provinces in China and five international teams. Ultimately, three teams from Shenzhen Honor Smart Technology Development Co., Ltd. swept the top three spots. All winning robots were "Lightning" models, with net times of 50:26, 50:56, and 53:01, respectively, all of which surpassed the men's half-marathon world record. According to the organizing committee, 47 out of 102 teams completed the race, a completion rate of over 45%. Last year, the winning time was 2 hours, 40 minutes and 42 seconds.

"Compared with last year, the reliability of the robots has improved greatly this year," said Zhao Mingguo, a researcher at the Department of Automation, Tsinghua University. He noted that the number of falls significantly decreased, while autonomous capability, running speed, stability, and battery life all saw marked improvements. Notably, multiple teams in the autonomous navigation category completed the race without any intervention or falls.

Robots were omnipresent at this year's Beijing E-Town Half Marathon and Humanoid Robot Half Marathon. Serving as photographers, pacers, catering assistants, cheerleaders, cleaning volunteers, and many other roles, numerous robotic assistants performed their duties, creating a "full collection" of robotic services. This event provided an excellent demonstration of the commercialization and real-world application of robot technology.

机器人跑半马打破人类纪录，荣耀机器人“闪电”50分26秒夺冠

4月19日，2026北京亦庄半程马拉松暨人形机器人半程马拉松举行，百余台人形机器人与1.2万人共同竞跑。荣耀机器人“闪电”以50分26秒的净时成绩夺冠，超越人类男子半马世界纪录，创造人机竞速新历史。

本届赛事规模较去年扩容近5倍，吸引全国11个省份超百支队伍及5支国际赛队参赛。最终，深圳荣耀智慧科技公司的三支战队包揽冠、亚、季军，所用机器人均为“闪电”，净用时分别为50分26秒、50分56秒、53分01秒，均超越人类男子半马世界纪录。据组委会统计，102支队伍中完赛47支，完赛率超45%，而一年前冠军成绩为2小时40分42秒。

“和去年相比，今年机器人的可靠性得到很大提高。”清华大学自动化系研究员赵明国介绍，今年参赛机器人摔倒次数显著减少，自主能力、奔跑速度、运动稳定性与续航能力均有明显提升，尤其是自主导航组别中有多支队伍实现无干预、零摔倒完赛。

今年亦庄半马赛场上，机器人无处不在。摄影师、配速员、美食主理人、啦啦队、清扫志愿者……众多机器人服务助手各司其职，组成了机器人服务“全图鉴”，为机器人技术的市场化、场景化落地提供了优质示范。
