The first phase of the 139th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) concluded on April 19th. As of 5 p.m. that day, a total of 167,000 overseas buyers from 216 countries and regions attended the fair, up 5.9% from the same period of the previous edition and exceeding previous levels for the same phase, fully showcasing the resilience and vitality of China's foreign trade. Meanwhile, 123 overseas industrial and commercial organizations attended in delegations, up 4.2%. Among the 300 buyer delegations, 197 were organized by leading companies, including theUnited States' Harbor Freight Tools, Germany's Metro, and Japan's Daiso, up 6.5%.

"Every second at the Canton Fair is precious," said Akpobolokemi, a buyer from Nigeria, noting that he was particularly interested in the fair's newly added zones, including those for drones. Another buyer, Louis from Ecuador, was specifically looking for a small aircraft capable of transporting cargo.
The fair's Service Robots exhibition area proved especially popular. "The volume of inquiries has far exceeded our expectations. We have already received hundreds of expressions of interest, and buyers from Europe, the United States, and other markets have shown particularly strong demand for automation solutions," said Li Jiaxian, brand manager of Dobot Robotics. Wang Mengdi, who is in charge of PHYBOT's booth, also said that their company's exhibits won favor with buyers from around the world. Buyers from Europe, the United States, Japan, South Korea, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East registered cooperation intentions one after another, leaving the sales team almost fully occupied with receiving visitors throughout the event.
This edition of the Canton Fair is being held in Guangzhou in three offline phases and will run through May 5th. Traveling across mountains and seas, overseas buyers have shown their trust in Chinese products and confidence in the Chinese economy with their attendance and orders, sourcing a wide range of products at the fair.
第139届广交会一期闭幕:16.7万名境外采购商到会,创历史新高
4月19日,第139届广交会第一期线下展落下帷幕。截至19日17时,共有来自216个国家和地区的16.7万名境外采购商到会,比上届同期增长5.9%,到会人数超往届水平,充分展现我国外贸的韧性和活力。同时,123家境外工商机构组团参会,增长4.2%;300个采购团中,美国中央采购、德国麦德龙、日本大创等197家头部企业组团参会,增长6.5%。
“在广交会的每一秒都很珍贵。”来自尼日利亚的采购商阿科波洛凯米表示,他对本届广交会新设的无人机等新专区很感兴趣。来自厄瓜多尔的采购商路易斯则专门寻找能够运载货物的小型飞行器。
本届广交会机器人专区尤其火爆。“咨询量远超预期,已收到数百个咨询意向,欧美等地客商对自动化方案的采购意愿尤为强烈。”越疆科技(DOBOT)品牌经理李嘉贤说。动易科技展位负责人王梦迪也表示,该公司展出的产品收获全球各地采购商的青睐,来自欧美、日韩、东南亚及中东的采购商纷纷登记合作意向,销售团队几乎全程处于“接待饱和”状态。
本届广交会共分三期线下展在广州举办,持续到5月5日。境外采购商跨越山海、用脚投票,在广交会拿下多元产品、填满“购物车”,彰显了对中国产品的信赖和对中国经济的信心。
