Recently, the Bureau of Statistics of Guangdong Province released data on the province's cultural and related industries above designated size in 2025. The data shows that in 2025, these industries in Guangdong achieved an operating revenue of 2.77 trillion yuan, up by 8.9% year on year; total profits reached 294.51 billion yuan, up by 15.0% year on year.

In terms of profitability, the growth rate of total profits (15.0%) is far higher than that of operating revenue (8.9%), indicating that the industry is undergoing a profound transformation from large-scale expansion to emphasizing both quality and efficiency.

In 2025, the number of legal entities of cultural and related industries above designated sizein the province reached 12,066, an increase of 175 over the previous year; the number of employees stood at 1.40 million; total assets amounted to 3.24 trillion yuan, an increase of 335.37 billion yuan, up by 10.4% year on year.

In 2025, the operating revenue of 16 industries with obvious characteristics of the new format in Guangdong reached 1.13 trillion yuan, up by 17.6% year on year, accounting for 40.6% of the total operating revenue of the province's cultural and related industries.

Among them, multiple sub-sectors, including Internet advertising service, multimedia, game and animation software development, and other Internet information services, each generated operating revenue of more than 100 billion yuan while maintaining double-digit growth.

In 2025, cultural core fields recorded an operating revenue of 1.79 trillion yuan, accounting for 64.6% of the province's total cultural and related industrial revenue, and maintained a dominant position in industrial development. Cultural related fields achieved an operating revenue of 980.79 billion yuan, forming a sound pattern led by core fields and supported by related fields.

All three major industries—cultural manufacturing, cultural wholesale and retail, and cultural service—achieved growth. Among them, cultural service industry saw operating revenue rise 13.2% year on year, becoming an important growth driver; as a pillar of the industry, cultural manufacturing industry accounted for 44.2% of total operating revenue.

The content creation and production industry achieved operating revenue of 776.16 billion yuan, up by 17.3% year on year, with leading enterprises playing a prominent role.

The Pearl River Delta region serves as the core of industrial innovation, contributing 97.0% of the province's cultural industrial revenue in 2025. Among them, Shenzhen and Guangzhou together realized an operating revenue of 2.18 trillion yuan, accounting for 81.1% of the Pearl River Delta region's total, with an outstanding core leading role.

27730亿元营收背后，广东文化产业凭什么这么“能打”？

近日，广东省统计局发布了2025年广东规模以上文化及相关产业发展相关数据。数据显示，2025年广东规上文化及相关产业实现营业收入27730.46亿元，同比增长8.9%；利润总额2945.12亿元，同比增长15.0%。

从效益看，利润总额增速（15.0%）远超营业收入增速（8.9%），显示出产业正从“规模扩张”向“质效并重”深度转型。

2025年，全省规模以上文化及相关产业法人单位达12066家，较上年增加175家；从业人员139.75万人；资产总计32399.99亿元，较上年增加3353.70亿元，同比增长10.4%。

2025年，广东文化新业态特征明显的16个行业小类，营业收入达11271.99亿元，同比增长17.6%，占全省文化及相关产业营业收入的比重达40.6%。

其中，互联网广告服务、多媒体及游戏动漫软件开发、互联网其他信息服务等多个细分领域营收规模均超千亿，且保持两位数高速增长。

2025年，文化核心领域实现营业收入17922.60亿元，占全省文化及相关产业营业收入的比重达64.6%，始终占据产业发展主导地位。文化相关领域实现营业收入9807.86亿元，形成“核心引领、相关支撑”的良好格局。

文化制造业、文化批发和零售业、文化服务业三大产业均实现增长。其中，文化服务业营收同比增长13.2%，成为重要增长力量；文化制造业作为支柱，营收占比44.2%。

内容创作生产行业营收达7761.61亿元，同比增长17.3%，龙头带动作用突出。

珠三角地区是产业创新的核心，2025年贡献了全省97.0%的文化产业营收。其中，深圳、广州两市合计实现营业收入21809.25亿元，占珠三角地区的81.1%，核心引领作用突出。
