Chinese enterprise ZXMOTO secured back-to-back wins at the World Superbike Championship (WSBK) in Portugal with its independently developed 820RR-RS motorcycle, putting Chinese motorcycles in the global spotlight. Key components of the   history-making 820RR-RS, including the exhaust pipe (silencer) and engine cylinders, were supplied by companies in Jiangmen. This achievement highlights a seemingly modest yet highly valuable advantage of Jiangmen's motorcycle   industry: the "30-minute supply chainradius."

The so-called "30-minute supply chain radius" means that in Jiangmen, any complete vehicle manufacturer in Pengjiang or Jianghai can source all the necessary components for a motorcycle within a 30-minute drive.Currently,   Jiangmen is home to more than 110 motorcycle and parts enterprises above the designated size. Core components, from screws and wiring harnesses to engines, frames, shock absorbers and braking systems, are   largely supplied locally.

Chaoyang Precision spent five years developing ceramic cylinder technology, while Daye Motor invested 80% of its profits into product iteration. Dachangjiang Group put 500 million yuan into building a research   and development center, and Jianya Motorcycle built its own laboratories, test rooms and wind tunnel. Rather than remaining in low-end contract manufacturing, Jiangmen's motorcycle industry has focused on core technologies. It   has expanded into new energy motorcycle technologies and accelerated digital transformation, moving steadily toward smart manufacturing and stronger brand building.

In 2025, Jiangmen's motorcycle exports of complete vehicles and parts exceeded 21 billion yuan, accounting for nearly one-quarter of China's total. This means that nearly one in five motorcycles exported from China is produced in Jiangmen. From   traditional strongholds such as Africa and Southeast Asia to more technically demanding markets like Europe and Japan, Jiangmen's motorcycle industry has achieved a comprehensive breakthrough. Behind this success lies the strong support of an industrial   cluster and a steady move up the value chain.

“半小时配套圈”，圈出江门摩托的全球竞争力

中国企业张雪机车自主研发的820RR—RS赛车在世界超级摩托车锦标赛葡萄牙站连夺两冠，让中国摩托站在世界舞台的聚光灯下。创造历史的820RR—RS赛车上，关键的排气管（消音器）及发动机气缸，均来自江门的企业。这一高光，映照出江门摩托一个看似不起眼却含金量十足的优势——“半小时配套圈”。

所谓“半小时配套圈”，说的是在江门，从位于蓬江或江海的任何一家整车制造企业出发，半小时车程内就能配齐一台摩托车的所有零部件。目前，江门市拥有规上摩托车及配套企业超110家，从螺丝、线束到发动机、车架、减震、制动，核心部件基本实现本地供应。

朝扬精密五年磨一剑研发陶瓷气缸技术，大冶摩托把80%的利润投向产品迭代，大长江集团投资5亿元建设研发中心，建雅摩托则自建实验室、测试室与风洞……江门摩托没有在低端代工里打转，而是死磕核心技术，积极布局新能源赛道，推动数字化转型，向“智造”和“品牌”跃升。

2025年，江门摩托整车及零配件出口额超210亿元，出口份额接近全国的四分之一。这意味着，全球每出口5辆摩托车，就有1辆产自江门。从非洲、东南亚等传统优势市场，到技术壁垒更高的欧洲、日本市场，江门摩托以硬核实力实现全面突围，背后正是产业集群的强大支撑和向价值链高端攀升的坚定步伐。
