On March 8th, during the Press Conference for the Fourth Session of the 14th National People's Congress, Desca Lidya Natalia, a journalist from Indonesia's Antara News Agency, was among the "lucky ones" selected to ask a question.

Antara News Agency is Indonesia's national news agency. Desca is the only Indonesian journalist permanently stationed in Beijing. Indonesia is the largest country in Southeast Asia, and Desca raised a question on the South China Sea to Wang Yion behalf of Southeast Asian countries. She knows the issue is among the topics of greatest concern to people across Southeast Asia.

Having been stationed in China for more than two years, Desca has traveled to 26 provinces, including Guangdong, Hainan,and Jiangxi, on her reporting trips. She has visited urban and rural areas, industrial parks, and people's livelihood scenes, allowing Indonesian readers to see a real, three-dimensional, and diverse China through her words and lenses.

Desca is also an "old friend" of Guangdong. In 2024 and 2025, she participated twice in the "Indonesian journalist at GBA" programorganized by Yangcheng Evening News. "For me, Guangdong represents southern China." She said that both the booming innovative enterprises and the open and inclusive urban atmosphere left a deep impression on her.

"I think Shenzhen is a perfect city to host the 2026 APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting," Desca said. In the previous two years, she conducted in-depth visits to several high-tech companies in Shenzhen, including OPPO, UBTECH, and DJI, and also visited Huaqiangbei, known as "China's No. 1 Electronics Street". In her eyes, Shenzhen is young and full of vitality, boasting complete industrial chains and mature innovation ecosystems, with particular strengths in cutting-edge fields like robotics and drones.

In 2023, Desca was dispatched to China by Antara News Agency, starting her career as a journalist stationed in China. Over more than two years, she has witnessed and recorded China's development and changes during the 14th Five-Year Plan period.

"Over the past few decades, China has lifted 800 million people out of poverty." In her view, this is a highly convincing case that can help Indonesian people understand China's development path more realistically.

This year marks the beginning of China's 15th Five-Year Plan. When talking about the 15th Five-Year Plan, what she is most concerned about is the new energy transformation.

As an archipelagic country, Indonesia sees its people widely concerned about threats such as sea-level rise driven by climate change. Desca says China's steadfast promotion of new energy transformation in the 15th Five-Year Plan can serve as a model for Indonesia to accelerate technological upgrading and energy structure transformation.

印度尼西亚安塔拉通讯社记者戴思佳：在广东深圳举办APEC会议是一个“完美的选择”

3月8日，在十四届全国人大四次会议举行的记者会上，印尼安塔拉通讯社戴思佳成为“幸运儿”，获得了提问机会。

安塔拉通讯社是印尼的国家通讯社。戴思佳是这个国家唯一常驻北京的记者。印尼是东南亚第一大国家，戴思佳此次代表东南亚国家向王毅提了一个有关南海的问题。她知道，这是东南亚国家民众最为关心的话题之一。

在中国驻站两年多，戴思佳的足迹已遍布广东、海南、江西等26个省份。她走进城市乡村、产业园区与民生现场，让印尼读者通过她的文字与镜头，看见一个真实、立体、多元的中国。

戴思佳也是广东的“老朋友”。2024年和2025年，戴思佳两度参加由羊城晚报组织的“印尼媒体湾区行”。“对我来说，广东是中国南方的代表。”她说，无论是蓬勃发展的创新企业，还是开放包容的城市氛围，都让她印象深刻。

“在深圳举办2026年APEC会议，我认为这是一个非常完美的选择。”戴思佳说。此前两年，她曾深入走访深圳多家高科技企业，包括OPPO、优必选、大疆，也探访过被称为“中国电子第一街”的华强北。在她眼中，深圳年轻且充满活力，产业链完备，创新生态成熟，尤其在机器人、无人机等前沿领域优势突出。

2023年，戴思佳被安塔拉通讯社派驻中国，从此开启了驻华记者生涯。在两年多时间里，戴思佳亲眼见证并记录了中国“十四五”时期的发展与变迁。

“过去几十年，中国让8亿贫困人口摆脱贫困”，在她看来，这是一个极具说服力的案例，能够帮助印尼人民更真实地理解中国的发展路径。

今年是中国“十五五”开局之年。谈及“十五五”规划，她最关注的是新能源转型。

印尼是一个群岛国家，印尼人普遍担忧气候变化带来的海平面上升等威胁。戴思佳表示，中国在“十五五”规划中持续坚定推进新能源转型，可以成为印尼借鉴的范例，帮助印尼加快技术升级与能源结构转型。
