As the Chinese New Year approaches, Beijing's festive consumer market is heating up. Guangdong products, including food, art toys, home appliances, and tech products, are highly favored by consumers, becoming a highlight of Beijing's holiday consumption.

Guangzhou Restaurant is a time-honored Cantonese brand with a history of more than 90 years. Its Beijing branch in the Canton Hotel Beijing has won great popularity with its authentic Cantonese flavors since opening in 2024. The core team of the Beijing branch is from Guangdong, with the head chef directly appointed by the headquarters. By staying true to authentic Cantonese cuisine, the restaurant enables local diners to enjoy authentic Lingnan flavors without leaving Beijing.

Catering industry data shows that the number of Cantonese restaurants across China has continued to grow, surpassing 120,000 in 2024 and exceeding 130,000 in February 2025. Among the restaurants listed in the Black Pearl Restaurant Guide 2026, 40 serve Cantonese cuisine, with six located in Beijing, second only to Guangzhou, highlighting the nationwide influence of Cantonese cuisine.

Beyond classic cuisine, trendy Guangdong products are also winning over younger consumers. At THE BOX Chaowai in Beijing's Chaoyang district, MINISO attracts young shoppers with new releases such as blind-box art toys and plush collectibles. About 70% of its global supply chain is from Guangdong. Supported by industrial clusters such as Dongguan's art toy industry and Chenghai's toy sector, Guangdong is accelerating the development of AI toy industrial clusters, emerging as a new engine for industrial upgrading.

As a major manufacturing province, Guangdong boasts a complete home appliance industrial chain. The "Guangdong-made home appliances" have maintained strong market competitiveness for over 40 years. One in every three air conditioners sold globally is manufactured in Guangdong, while the smart home appliance industry in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area accounts for nearly 30% of the global market. In the travel and digital sectors, Guangdong products are also widely recognized. A Beijing resident, Xu Zhiyuan, drives a GAC new energy vehicle and has long used HONOR smartphones, reflecting consumer confidence in the quality and technology of Guangdong products.

From Cantonese cuisine with a history spanning thousands of years to trendsetting cultural and creative art toys, and from essential household appliances to intelligent technology products, Guangdong products have long transcended regional and category boundaries. While upholding a commitment to quality, they continue to evolve with the times. From Lingnan to the rest of China, Guangdong products have become not only a hallmark of "Made in Guangdong" but also a representative of "premium products" for consumers.

粤味、潮玩、家电……精致广货进万家

春节临近，北京年货消费市场火热，来自广东的美食、潮玩、家电、科技产品等广货深受消费者青睐，成为京城新春消费的亮眼风景。

在北京西城区广州大厦，90余年历史的粤菜老字号广州酒家北京店，自2024年开业以来，凭借地道粤味圈粉无数。门店核心团队均来自广东，厨师长由总部直接派驻，坚守粤菜本味，让京城食客在家门口就能品味正宗岭南风味。

餐饮数据显示，全国粤菜门店持续增长，2024年超12万家，2025年2月突破13万家；2026黑珍珠餐厅中，粤菜上榜40家，北京占6家，数量仅次于广州，彰显粤菜全国影响力。

除了经典美食，新潮广货也俘获年轻群体。在北京朝阳区THE BOX朝外，名创优品以潮玩盲盒、毛绒周边等新品吸引年轻人。其全球供应链七成来自广东，依托东莞潮玩、澄海玩具等产业集群，广东正加速打造AI玩具产业带，成为产业升级新引擎。

作为制造业大省，广东家电产业链完备，“粤家电”IP长红超40年，全球每3台空调就有1台产自广东，大湾区智能家电产业规模占全球近30%。在出行与数码领域，广货同样备受认可：北京市民许志远选择广汽新能源汽车，长期使用荣耀手机，正是对广货品质与技术的信任。

从传承千年的粤菜，到引领潮流的文创潮玩，从民生刚需的家电，到智能科技产品，广货早已跨越地域与品类，既坚守品质初心，又紧跟时代潮流。从岭南走向全国，广货不仅是“广东制造”的名片，更成为消费者心中“好产品”的共同记忆。
