In mid-January, the "Guangdong Goods Global Reach" Spring Campaign officially commenced. Amid the peak of the Chinese New Year travel rush, the bustling scene of "New Year goods hitting the highway" has emerged across Guangdong's expressway network. Highway service areas have been transformed into "New Year Shopping Stations" along the homecoming route, bringing distinctive New Year flavors from Guangdong's specialties to households nationwide.

At the Dinghu Service Area on the Jiangmen-Zhaoqing Expressway, drivers scanned QR codes to purchase local specialties like Duan inkstones. On the first day of the Chinese New Year travel rush, two service areas along this expressway sold eight Duan inkstones and 250kg of small tangerines. At the Tangxia Service Area on the Guangzhou-Zhongshan-Jiangmen Expressway, local delicacies such as Xinhui dried tangerine peel, Jiangmen Donggu soy sauce, and Liyue cured meats also attracted many travelers to stop and shop.

New Year flavors in Guangzhou are also traveling beyond the province along the outbound expressways. At the Longmen Service Area on the Wuhan-Shenzhen Expressway, over 50 kg of New Year tangerines from Longmen were sold in a single day. Ms. Li, who was returning to Hubei, filled her trunk with New Year tangerines and Simiao rice (a premium fragrant rice), saying she would share them with friends and family. Meanwhile, the Shixing Zaixiang Noodles, traditional rice noodles in honor of Prime Minister Zhang Jiuling at the Jiuling Service Area, became a popular purchase for the Chinese New Year due to their thin yet chewy texture.

Along the Guangdong-Jiangxi Expressway, specialties such as Maba oil sticky rice (once imperial tribute rice) at Shaoguan East Service Area on the Shaoguan-Ganzhou Expressway, and Zijing bamboo shell tea and a traditional sweet rice wine brewed by Hakka women at Huangcun Service Area on the Longchuan-Zijin Expressway, are quite popular among travelers. Besides, Huangcun Service Area further enhances the shopping experience by offering dinosaur-themed educational activities.

At highway service areas across Western Guangdong, local specialties such as Huajuhong, Yingde Douchi (Fermented black beans), and Tuoluo Pastry from Dianbai are displayed in abundance. Additionally, Yingde black tea, Lianping dried eagle-beak peaches , and Luoding Orah mandarin gift boxes are flying off the shelves. From the cultural heritage of the West River to Northern Guangdong's wild forest delicacies, and from Hakka flavors to cured meats from the overseas Chinese, Guangdong's expressways are transforming into a mobile showcase for "Guangdong Goods Global Reach."

广货行天下！“老广年味”沿着高速随车回家

1月中旬，“广货行天下”春季行动正式启动。眼下正值春运返程高峰，“年货上高速”的热闹景象在广东高速路网遍地开花，高速服务区成为返乡路上的“年货采购站”，南粤特产带着老广“年味”走进全国家庭。

江肇高速鼎湖服务区内，车主扫码选购端砚等特产，春运首日该高速两对服务区便卖出8方端砚、500斤砂糖橘等好物。广中江高速棠下服务区的新会陈皮、江门东古酱油、礼乐腊味，也吸引不少旅客驻足选购。

“老广年味”还沿出省高速飘向多地。武深高速龙门服务区一天卖出100多斤龙门年桔，返回湖北的李女士后备箱塞满年桔、丝苗米等，直言要带给亲友；九龄服务区的始兴宰相粉，以薄韧口感成为热门年货。

粤赣通道上，韶赣高速韶关东服务区的马坝油粘米（曾为朝廷贡米），龙紫高速黄村服务区的紫金竹壳茶、客家娘酒等特产，都颇受旅客青睐，黄村服务区还通过恐龙知识讲解增添选购乐趣。

粤西各高速服务区内，化州橘红、阳江豆豉、拖罗饼等特产琳琅满目。此外，英德红茶、连平鹰嘴桃干、罗定沃柑礼箱等也热销不已。从西江文脉到粤北山珍，从客家风味到侨乡腊味，广东高速正成为“广货行天下”的流动展廊。
