Located in the Huangpu District of Guangzhou, the GBA National Institute for Nanotechnology Innovation (CanNano) serves as a key nanotechnology commercialization platform in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) and is promoting a range of Guangdong-made products with independent intellectual property rights to the global market.

In the field of big health, nanotechnology is demonstrating transformative application potential. Among the technology products incubated by CanNano are a one-minute drug detection system that enables accurate screening within a very short time, eight-second hemostatic nanobiomaterials that provide critical support for emergency medical care, as well as nano-enabled products such as nanomedicine for liver cancer and nanomaterial-based vaccine adjuvants, which are significantly enhancing health protection capabilities.
The quantum dot diffusion plates developed by Guangna Jiayuan feature stability exceeding 10,000 hours under conditions of 60℃, 90% RH, and 200 W/m2 blue light exposure, as well as over 30,000 hours under normal ambient temperature and humidity with continuous illumination. These performance indicators have enabled "China-made displays" to take a global lead in both color performance and durability. Meanwhile, the team at SEEV has independently developed an AR optical waveguide chip based on "diffractive optical waveguide" technology. By constructing nanoscale "light tunnels" inside lenses, the chip achieves precise control of optical paths. With these innovative technologies, the company has captured more than 60% of the global market share.

It is reported that CanNano has not only built "hard infrastructure" such as the Nano Biosafety Evaluation and Research Center (GLP) and the platform SMILE (Smart Module Innovative Lab &Engineering), but has also taken the lead in establishing the National Nano-Intelligent Manufacturing Industry Innovation Center. Together with 10 listed companies and leading industry players, the institute is jointly developing a national-level technology transfer and industrial application platform, ensuring that scientific and technological achievements go beyond academic papers and patents and move toward real-world industrial applications.

在大健康领域,纳米科技展现出变革性的应用潜力。广纳院孵化的科技产品中,有“1分钟毒品检测”,可在短时间内完成精准筛查;有“8秒超快止血纳米生物材料”,为急救医疗提供关键支持;还有“肝癌纳米药物”“纳米疫苗佐剂”等纳米科技创新产品,实实在在提升着生命健康的守护水平。
广纳珈源研发的量子点光学扩散板,稳定性大于10000h(60℃、RH90%、200W/m2蓝光)和30000h(常温常湿点亮)的量子点光学扩散板,让“中国屏”在色彩与耐用性上走在世界前列。广纳四维团队通过“衍射光波导”技术研发的一款自主研发的AR光波导芯片,通过在镜片内构建纳米级的“光的隧道”,实现对光路的精准控制。凭借创新技术,该公司已占据全球超60%的市场份额。
据了解,广纳院不仅建设“硬件”设施,如GLP纳米生物安全评价研究中心、SMILE智能器件创新与工程验证平台等,还牵头成立了“国家纳米智造产业创新中心”,联合10家上市企业与行业龙头,共同打造国家级产业承接平台,让科技成果不再停留于论文专利。
