As the 2026 Chinese New Year approaches, selecting a Guangdong-made gift for friends and relatives—one that conveys heartfelt sentiment and the pulse of the times—is gaining fresh significance.

As a major New Year gift, a Guangdong-made new energy vehicle embodies the technological confidence and global vision of Guangdong's intelligent manufacturing. In 2025, BYDalone achieved global sales exceeding 4.6 million units, with overseas sales surging by 145% to 1.05 million units.

In global markets, Guangdong automakers are undergoing a qualitative shift from "products going global"to "supply chain globalization." BYD has established production bases in regions such as Thailand and Europe, exporting technology and standards. Xpeng, meanwhile, recorded a 96% year-on-year increase in overseas deliveries in 2025,with its intelligent driving technology brand expanding its global footprint.

One in every three smartphones sold globally carries the imprintof "Made in Guangdong." Five major brands, including Huawei, vivo, OPPO, HONOR, and Transsion, dominate five spots among the world's top ten smartphone brands. The smartphone industry cluster centered on Shenzhen, Dongguan, and Huizhou boasts an over 90% industrial chain localizationrate, achieving efficient coordinationfrom high-end chip R&D and precision component manufacturingto final assembly and software ecosystems.

At the same time, Guangdong has built a deep foundation in the low-altitude economy. Data show that more than 30% of China's low-altitude industry chain enterprises are concentrated in the province, totaling around 15,000 enterprises. In the first quarter of 2025, Guangdong's drone exports reached 3.46 billion yuan, up 16.6 % year-on-year. In the first half of 2025, Guangzhou's drone exports totaled approximately 1.2 billion USdollars, an increase of over 250% compared with the same period in 2024.

与此同时，广东在低空经济领域沉淀深厚。数据显示，全国30%以上低空产业链企业聚集在广东，达1.5万家。2025年一季度，广东全省无人机出口值达34.6亿元，同比增长16.6%；上半年，广州无人机出口值约12亿美元，较2024年同期增幅超250%。
