At 6:00 AM, in Meilin Subdistrict of Futian District, Shenzhen, a group of special "delivery workers" begins their busy day. Boxy in shape, tireless, and undeterred by wind or rain, they follow preset routes to deliver bags of fresh food supplies to community service stations. At the same time, drones take off from designated launch sites, powered by over 20 AI algorithms running in real-time to precisely identify potential fire hazards and urban disorder. This is not a vision of the future, but an ordinary morning scene in Meilin Subdistrict in 2026.

To date, Meilin is home to 82 AI-related enterprises, forming a complete industrial chain spanning chip R&D, smart hardware, algorithm innovation, and scenario applications. A total of 65 AI application scenarios have been developed, covering multiple domains including urban governance, public services, and industrial development. Among them, 15 functional unmanned vehicle routes have been established, with seven routes already delivered for regular operation covering over 50 kilometers. Both the number of routes and coverage density rank first in Futian District, making Meilin one of the areas in Shenzhen with the highest concentration of AI applications.

In 2025,GDU Tech, a startup founded in Wuhan, established its presence at the Huaqiang Science Innovation Plaza in Meilin Subdistrict, positioning Shenzhen as a new pivot for its global expansion. On January 7th, 2026, GDU Tech exhibited at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in the United States, presenting not only new drones but also China's smart city solutions. It is reported that four unicorn companies are now based in Meilin. With a combined valuation of 45.6 billion US dollars (accounting for 29% of Shenzhen's total), Meilin has earned the title of the undisputed "No. 1 unicorn subdistrict"in China.

深圳梅林街道：AI重塑生活日常

凌晨六点，深圳福田区梅林街道，一批特殊的“配送员”开始忙碌——它们方头方脑，不知疲倦，不惧风雨，沿着预设的路径，将一袋袋生鲜物资送往各个社区驿站。同一时刻，无人机从指定起降点升空，20余种AI算法在后台实时运转，精准识别火情隐患、市容乱象。这不是未来图景，而是2026年深圳梅林街道一个再寻常不过的晨间场景。

截至目前，梅林聚集了82家AI相关企业，形成了从芯片研发、智能硬件、算法创新，到场景应用的完整产业链条；培育形成65项AI应用场景，涵盖城市治理、民生服务、产业发展等多个领域。其中，功能型无人车线路达15条，已交付常态化运行的7条线路辐射里程超50公里，线路数量、覆盖密度均位居福田全区首位，成为深圳AI技术落地最密集的区域之一。

2025年，初创于武汉的普宙科技落地梅林街道华强科创广场，并以深圳作为其全球化布局的新支点。今年1月7日，普宙科技在美国参展国际消费电子展CES，既展出新品无人机，也展示了中国智慧城市解决方案。据悉，深圳有4家独角兽企业扎根于梅林，以456亿美元总估值（占深圳全市29%）的成绩，让梅林成为全国当之无愧的“独角兽第一街道”。
