On January 3rd, Guangzhou Nansha International Cruise Home Port welcomed its first cruise of 2026, marking the 10th anniversary of Guangzhou's cruise tourism development. On the same day, with the efficient inspection services provided by the Nansha Immigration Inspection Station, around 1,500 passengers from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area as well as the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand boarded the cruise ship "Adora Mediterranea" for a five-day, four-night voyage to Vietnam.

To support Nansha's goal of building an "international cruise industry hub", the Nansha Immigration Inspection Station has focused on the needs of both Chinese and international travelers. It took the lead in implementing four facilitation measures, including a 15-day visa-free entry policy for foreign tourist groups, a 240-hour visa-free transit policy, exemption from fingerprint collection, and exemption from passport stamping. The station also pioneered innovative services in China such as facial recognition clearance and QR code entry, reducing individual cruise passenger clearance time from 90 seconds to as fast as five seconds, ranking among the most efficient nationwide.

As one of the largest cruise home port complexes in Asia, Nansha International Cruise Home Port has attracted a number of internationally renowned cruise companies. It has launched multiple round-trip cruise routes to destinations including Vietnam, the Philippines, Malaysia, Brunei and China's Hong Kong, helping establish Nansha as the port in South China with the densest international cruise route network and the most diverse range of cruise destinations.

According to statistics, since January 3rd, 2016, the Nansha Immigration Inspection Station has ensured safe and smooth clearance for nearly 500 cruise ship calls and around two million passengers, achieving "zero errors, zero accidents and zero complaints". By the end of this year, China's second domestically built large cruise ship named after Guangzhou, "Adora Flora City", will be completed and put into regular operation with Nansha as its home port, offering travelers a wider and more diverse range of cruise vacation options.

1月3日，广州南沙国际邮轮母港迎来2026年首航，同时也是广州发展邮轮旅游产业10周年。当天，在南沙边检站的高效查验下，来自粤港澳大湾区以及美国、加拿大、澳大利亚、新西兰等地的1500名旅客，登上“爱达·地中海”号邮轮，开启5天4晚的越南之旅。

为助力南沙打造“国际邮轮产业高地”，南沙边检站聚焦中外旅客需求，率先落实外国旅游团15天免签、240小时过境免签、免留存指纹、免盖验讫章等4项便利政策，并在全国首推“刷脸通行”“扫码入境”等系列创新服务举措，将邮轮旅客个人通关时长从90秒缩短至最快5秒，通关效率居全国前列。

作为亚洲规模最大的邮轮母港综合体之一，南沙国际邮轮母港吸引多家国际知名邮轮公司入驻运营，先后开通往返越南、菲律宾、马来西亚、文莱及中国香港等多条航线，推动南沙成为华南地区国际邮轮航线网络最密集、旅游目的地最丰富的口岸。

据统计，2016年1月3日以来，南沙边检站已保障近500艘次邮轮、200万人次旅客安全顺畅通关，实现“零差错、零事故、零投诉”。今年年底，以广州城市形象命名的第二艘国产大型邮轮“爱达·花城”号将建造完成，并以南沙为母港常态化运营，届时将为广大旅客提供更加丰富多元的邮轮度假选择。
