At 8:56 AM on December 6th, an Airbus A320 operated by Loong Air departed from Shenzhen Baoan International Airport on a direct flight to Tawau in Malaysia, marking the inaugural flight of Shenzhen Airport's 60th international and regional passenger route. This milestone also signifies that the number of international and regional destinations served by Shenzhen Airport has now returned to the record level set in 2019.

The year 2025 is being hailed as an "expansion year" for Shenzhen Airport's international network. As of December 6th, the airport has newly opened or increased frequencies on 27 international and regional routes from Shenzhen, including services to Mexico City, Malé, Tokyo, and Dubai, giving it a network covering 60 cities across all five continents. Later this month, Shenzhen Airport will launch a direct flight to Melbourne, Australia. Operated by Shenzhen Airlines, it will be the first international route to Australia and the third major air link connecting Shenzhen with Oceania.
This rapid expansion of the international network would not be possible without strong infrastructure support. On November 29th, Shenzhen Airport's third runway officially entered service, and within just one week, it had already handled more than 200 flights. The airport is now accelerating construction of a "3+3+3+1" infrastructure configuration, consisting of three terminal areas, three cargo areas, three runways, and a satellite terminal, which in the future will allow it to accommodate up to 80 million passengers and 4.5 million tonnes of cargo and mail annually.
Thanks to upgrades in both "hardware" and "software," Shenzhen Airport is becoming an increasingly preferred entry point for international passengers coming into China. Data show that from January to November 2025, the airport handled more than 5.7 million international and regional passengers, a year-on-year increase of 23%.

深圳出发,通达五洲!深圳机场三跑道效能持续释放
12月6日上午8时56分,浙江长龙航空空客A320客机从深圳宝安国际机场直飞马来西亚斗湖,深圳机场第60条国际及地区客运航线正式首航,这也标志着深圳机场国际及地区客运航点数量成功恢复至2019年的历史峰值水平。

2025年是深圳机场国际航线的“扩容年”。截至12月6日,深圳机场新开及加密深圳至墨西哥城、马累、东京、迪拜等27条国际及地区客运航线,航线网络已实现全球五大洲60个城市的全覆盖。本月内,深圳至澳大利亚墨尔本的直飞航线将正式启航,这是深航首条通往澳洲的国际航线,将成为深圳连接大洋洲的第三条重要空中通道。
国际航线网络的快速扩张,离不开基础设施的硬核支撑。2025年11月29日,深圳机场第三条跑道正式投运,投运一周内起降航班已超200架次。据悉,深圳机场正加速构建“3+3+3+1”基础设施格局,即三个航站区、三个货运区、三条跑道及一个卫星厅,未来可满足年旅客吞吐量8000万人次、年货邮吞吐量450万吨的使用需求。
一系列软硬件的双重升级,让深圳机场成为越来越多外籍旅客入境中国的优选目的地。数据显示,2025年1-11月,深圳机场国际及地区旅客量超570万人次,同比增长23%。
