On November 14th, the 2025 Global Business Districts Attractiveness Report was released. The Tianhe Central Business District in Guangzhou entered the rankings for the first time, ranking 22nd globally among CBDs, and placing in the top four in China, demonstrating its global competitiveness and recognition.

The Report, compiled by a team from Ernst & Youngand the Urban Land Institute, assessed 30 leading CBDs across 19 countries. Using a benchmarking system that encompasses eight categories, including talent, market proximity, influence, macro conditions, real estate, urban amenities, innovation, and environment,the team conducted a systematic analysis and produced both category-specific and overall rankings.

The Report particularly praised the Tianhe CBD's outstanding performance in the dimension of "urban amenities and  mixed-use functions". A resident-to-worker ratio of 1:6 stood out as a core strength, effectively avoiding the "ghost-town" phenomenon and enhancing regional vitality and talent retention.

Through scientific planning, the Tianhe CBD seamlessly links a 520,000 square meters sports center, 300,000 square meters world-class cultural facilities, and 124 Grade-A office buildings, creating a complete ecosystem of "working in the CBD, living in the CBD, and relaxing in the CBD." This "park-like CBD" model aligns perfectly with the Report's identified trend of a CBD transformation into a "Central Social District (CSD)" and has become the "Guangzhou model" of industry and city integration in megacities.

The Report notes that the world's 30 largest Global Business Districts together host over 7 million professionals and 84 Global Fortune 500 companies, generating USD 4.5 trillion in annual GDP. As a key node of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the Tianhe CBD has already attracted many multinational companies' regional headquarters, financial institutions, and technology giants, becoming a center of commerce and decision-making linking South China and radiating globally.

11月14日，《2025全球商务区吸引力报告》发布。天河中央商务区首次参评，即位列全球CBD第22位、中国4强，彰显其全球竞争力与认可度。

该报告由安永与城市土地学会组成的团队对全球19个国家的30个领先CBD，基于人才、市场接近度、影响力、外部条件、办公空间、消费活力、创新与可持续性等8个类别的基准评估体系，进行了系统性分析，形成了类别单项及综合排名。

报告特别肯定了广州天河CBD在“城市配套与功能复合” 维度的突出表现，其1:6的居民与就业人口比例成为核心亮点，有效避免“空城化”，增强区域活力与人才黏性。

天河CBD通过科学规划，将52万平方米体育中心、30万平方米世界级文化设施与124栋甲级写字楼无缝衔接，打造了“工作在CBD、生活在CBD、休闲在CBD”的完整生态链。这种 “建在公园上的CBD” 模式，完美契合报告提出的“中央社交区（CSD）”转型趋势，成为超大城市产城融合的“广州样本”。

报告指出，全球30大商业中心汇聚超700万专业人才、84家世界500强总部，所在都市圈GDP合计达4.5万亿美元。天河CBD作为粤港澳大湾区关键节点，已吸引众多跨国企业区域总部、金融机构与科技巨头落户，成为链接华南、辐射全球的商贸与决策中枢。
